There are a lot of words in the hunter chart in this song:
Waidmanns heil: Is a greeting formula among hunters and means as much as "good luck on the hunt".
Blattschuss: leaf shot. Means With 1 shot the direct, fatal hit in the heart of the animal.
Kahlwild: Bald Deer, female or young game without antlers
Schmaltier: Narrow animal in hunter's language the female animal of the deer species red deer, fallow deer and sika deer
Spiegel: Mirror. The mirror in hoofed animals is a white or light spot either around the anus or a lighter mark on the back of the thigh.

Yeah! This was one of the songs I was waiting for you to react to. But I never imagined you, Dominika, would cry. This song is for me one of those that make me happy and lift me up. I love the song but I've never cried while listening to it. But now I'm gonna watch your reaction few times to see what exactly happened. 😂 Maybe you have just become very sensitive towards Rammstein and Till in general. That would make a perfect sense, because many times I have found myself crying along with a R+ song which was not sad at all. So I guess it's normal reaction. Or we are both crazy. 😂😘🖤

You cannot translate this song. Because hunters in Germany have their own language called "hunters latin". Most germans dont understand 100%. Rammstein use this hunters phrases in the song. One of my top 5 songs from Rammstein. Thank's for your great reaction as always ❤

Hello, I’ve been watching your reactions for a year now, and I really like them, especially about the group Rammstein, because perhaps if you think about it, this is the only group that inspired me (and not only me) to make music, their songs are simply phenomenal, and their show concert includes in the top 10, which is a must-see (well, I think so), I would like to advise you to get acquainted with another lesser-known German group Eisbrecher, this group has similar songs and genres as Rammstein, although not such bright concerts, but damn their songs are very good, so if you have time, I advise you to get acquainted with this wonderful group!

I love watching both of your reactions....I love the genuine love and emotions you show for Till.. In the end when you mentioned he looked sad and lonely, well I understand exactly what you mean because I too feel that he really and truly wanted a wife, kids a regular family but even though he does have kids he's never been able to stay in a committed relationship for long before separation/divorce and I too have noticed that he looks sad, I've seen pictures of him smiling but his eyes look sad😢

The song translates as Hunter's Greeting/Hail/Good hunting. It's a traditional greeting that German hunters would give each other before they went off on the hunt, so doesn't translate too well. The song can be taken as literal about the thrill of the hunt and obsession with hunting animals but the song can also have a deeper meaning of a man hunting women for pleasure, as there's a lot of metaphors and symbolism in the lyrics that Till always uses in songs

Till uses symbolism mostly in the lyrics...but that didnt means there is always another meaning. he does that on purpose to confuse us..

@@wildwine6400 I don't deny that at all. Rammstein is fundamentally profound. And they incorporate the sexual innuendos especially for the superficial society, which can't look so deeply. And Rammstein laughs in their faces, at least that's what I think

There are still people trying to get the deeper meaning - even the Beatles actually already said it is only for those people who see a deeper meaning in everything. Just like some professors saying that Goethe and other poets always had a meaning when they wrote poems. Maybe they just have sat on the toilet and wrote about a fly sitting on the wall and those professor saying the fly is a symbol for freedom or shit like this.

Underrated song from Rammstein!
There are many songs you might cry at, but I didn't expect Weidmanns Heil will be one of them :D But I have to say - I heard the studio version of the song billion times. But I guess this is the first time I heard to live version. And that "touching part" is something that is missing on the original record, and it adds a little extra to the song. Yet another layers I might say... anyway, all the conclusions always end at "its Rammstein in the end" :P

This lyrics are also a challenge to German native speakers - as long as they are no hunters - because there are a lot of words or expressions from a kind of hunter's language in this song: German words, but with a different meaning. E.g. "Feiner Schweiss tropft auf das Knie" literally means "fine sweat drips onto the knee" but it's not about sweat but about blood (this was translated correctly in the CC). So in this song, German language skills aren't enough to get every detail.

Oh Dominika I know exactly what you mean... when you said .."I was looking at him just standing there with the red.. sometimes something moves inside..." I too have sometimes be watching Till singing and I'll just emotional and start crying even if the song isn't sad ...I believe that even though we've never met him or really don't know how he is in private or anything like that..but it's something that we feel in our hearts that causes us to feel a certain love towards him and to care/worry about him and in a sense want to protect him which of course you can't and it's just crazy, but I do love him so much and I too cry sometimes when I'm listening to him singing or watching him on UA-cam..
There have been 4 things/rumours where I heard some pretty bad stuff about Till and without going into too much detail the 1st one I found myself reading some comments.. saying that in a certain video, n a particular scene that he was allegedly abusing the girl in the scene(of course not taking into consideration that it's a music video...hello? Acting!) But anyways I just had to check out this so called "abuse" and...well after watching this particular part I laughed and my love for Till only grew stronger, because not only was he Not abusing the girl he was actually hurting his own hand while he was protecting her head. The 2nd was some stuff I read online in like some old forum/posts talking about Till and his ex wife again concerning alleged abuse but again after reading through all these comments and absolutely no prove at . His ex accused him of breaking her nose and not paying child support..one comment said apparently there was an argument she broke a vase over his head and in response he pushed her but there was no nose breaking. Afterwards she went to hospital and accused him of being violent and threatened to take his parental rights to his second daughter. They signed an agreement and he had to pay her. Also another comment said she was in a lot of talk shows and kept talking about it and of course getting paid but Till never talked about his relations...not good or bad...when a reporter asked about his personal life he simply said 'ask my ex'.
The 3rd was him being accused of punching a man which he did do but after reading why well he's a hero in my book ...a newspaper article read:
'Now, he’s being accused of assault for allegedly busting up another’s man’s face.The alleged victim is a 54-year-old man from Hamburg who apparently insulted a female companion of the singer, according to witnesses, by implying she was a sex worker. The woman, named Lana, told Bild: "He said to me in English, 'I would pay double for you.'" Lindemann then asked the man if he had just called his companion a prostitute and demanded an apology. In response, the man allegedly clenched his fists and asked the RAMMSTEIN frontman to walk to the door. At that point, Lindemann elbowed the man in the face, leaving him with a bloody nose and a possible broken jaw.
A day after the incident was first reported in the German media, Lindemann's former girlfriend of five years, 29-year-old German model Sophia Thomalla, defended the singer, telling Bild: "Till is the most polite person I know. I have no idea what happened to upset him. But if he snapped, his reaction was justified." And 4th is of course the recent allegations against him which were of course dropped due to lack of evidence, an article read...
'German prosecutors said the investigation “did not provide any evidence” to support the accusations made against Lindemann. But they also noted there was “little opportunity to substantiate the allegations sufficiently,” as most of the claims against Lindemann were brought by third parties or in the press.
Despite the claims being made publicly in this way - whether via the press or social media - prosecutors said that alleged victims “have so far not contacted” law enforcement. And though some had shared their stories with the press, as the prosecutors noted, the journalists who reported those stories have “invoked their right” to not give evidence and protect their sources.'

To me, he seemed vulnerable.
It's quite difficult to translate German hunter jargon into correct English, because a few terms literally make no sense if verbatim translated. For Example: "Feiner Schweiß tropft auf das Knie" (fine sweat drops on the knee). In this verse "Schweiß" actually doesn't mean sweat, but blood. German hunters call blood of game animals "Schweiß / Sweat".
Next: "Kahlwild" means femal does / female red deers without antlers.
"Schmaltier" means a young female deer that still haven't been bred and hadn't calved. Sometimes it's called "Jährling" / yearling.
and last but not least: "Waidmanns Heil" (Hunter's Hail) a common greeting between German hunters, mostly answered by "Waidmanns Dank" (Hunter's thanks)

It's about 'hunting' women (a woman).
Rammstein using the so called hunter's language ('hunters latin' as we call it here).
The song is about a man who wants to approach a woman or in other words: a hunter who wants to 'shoot' a female deer.

That language is not german, that is hunters speech :) Hunters will not like it. The sentence "on land, on sea, the destruction lurks, the creature must die" refers to the animals, but after he shot the deer, the meaning switches and the hunter seems to be the destruction.
