Ebay has a money back guarantee, a yard sale doesn't. I would never pay even close to Ebay prices at a yard sale. Even if I wasn't reselling.
you also save on not having to pay shipping at a yard sale... so if they let you plug it in and test it there, starting negotiations at ebay prices isn't bad as long as the seller is willing to negotiate a little for hard to find stuff
eBay doesn't have a money back guarantee. If the product doesn't match the description you can return it. But that's it.
@@brianlaverdure904 ebay does have a momey back guarantee. However if you have buyers remorse that does not fall under a money back guarantee. However even in that situation you can still just claim it's not as described.
@@trevor245 this would just become a semantics argument which is pointless. eBay has a money back guarantee. The only thing that is covered is that the item and description have to match. eBay also offers coverage if the item doesn't arrive, but that has nothing to do with this conversation. Some sellers offer returns, but others, like myself, do not.
@@brianlaverdure904 you may not offer returns but in every single instance that a buyer feels like returning their item they will be able to do so. Not offering returns only hurts your business as ebay will allow them anyhow.
I’m glad I can help add to the Pokémon collection wall, the Pokémon Crystal box looks amazing in line with all of it. It’s where is should be in a place to be loved and displayed.
The Christmas blow molds at 5:51 were awesome and can be big money locally sold
I was wondering but you know most folks aren’t interested in shipping them
GARAGE SALE SEASON IS HERE BOYS!
Keep up the good work!
Dude it’s only February and I’m so impatient to get at it again this season
Props to them for not selling some of those gems!! Lol hopefully more ppl do the same and become more aware of what they have
he didnt have them
He def didnt have them
Another solid post. Good editing as always.
Easily my new favorite yardsaler for sure! First video I watched, subbed immediately.
Love this series thanks for the great content Chase God bless all :)
Thane is an absolute beast of a negotiator. He should sell high end used sports cars.
to whomever edited/produced this video, very good work. good production effort here
Its crazy , i just got into trying to get every pokemon game and special edition console and this was the 1st video of yours ive watched in a long time , just picked up the 20th anniversary edition new 3ds, in great condition, for my collection about 2 weeks ago
Can't wait for the whatnot show!
I would have been able to see this when it came out but I picked up extra hours at work early so here I am now 😂
Hahahaha Bob from Bob's Burgers. I never made that link before but now I can't stop hearing it.
Subscribed !!! Not part of the 63% percent who’s not subscribed anymore 😂
This makes me wanna build out my office as and old game store. And start filling it with my collections.
Chase trying to keep up the Conway Twitty sham while the older lady keeps bringing it will make me laugh for days
Loved the Conway scene, been singing conway as long as I can remember.
The laying down pikachu new 3ds xl is a must get! I have it along with the lunala and solgaleo 3ds and the original pikachu 3ds xl! Definitely the highlight pieces of my collection.
i like the power of asking i do that all the time and it works just fine with me
Very good video ❤️
Another great episode where you pursued the correct price
New to the cnannel , love phoenix resale and you're doing a pokemon game hunt?! count me in!!
What packaging do you use to ship video games when you resell them?
Watching this reminded me i have a 1st edition Pokemon Red in my basement, along with a 1st release PS2 that still works.
If I see printed eBay listings at a sale, I go elsewhere. Often times, like you said it's a current listing and not a sold comp and oftentimes the sold comps are for similar items, not the item offered. Many times I've brought this up to folks at sales and they just get butt hurt.
Bro was getting baited the whole day 😫🤣
Jazz music for tha win!! Also, new challenge for the season, the twitty twenty. Get 20 Conway twitty items in one season
You guys in Michigan!? I have a hard time finding stuff at yard sales. But marketplace trades have been awesome to me!
Crazy part I bought that same 2dsxl from my buddy for $175 and flipped it for 500 and he knew it! Real friend hooked me up!
That was totally Peter Griffin.....
That was solid advice about how to be different asking for games and consoles
I’m hitting 2 neighborhood sales tomorrow, hope they have games, that las o went to only 2 sales had games
5:30 Even worse than that I experienced last week where a garage sale had the Amazon renewed listings printed off and used those to justify their pricing. $350 for a 3ds is a little steep for me. And not a chance that you'll get $15 for a loose copy of Mx vs ATV untamed on the DS.
These young guys know what they got now ain't no more pulling that big number $500 and they like we can do that them games are easily worth 1k probably
How do yall find garage sales in your area and any tips for facebook market place ? Been finding good deals all week , even offered someone more than they where asking, on accident but i wouldve paid it, and still ended up getting ghosted
Good stuff man looking for the next 😊😊😊
I RESPECT that guy for not selling his Pokemon games!
Id never let go of mine and I still have my copy of red version and my gameboy advance all the way up to scarlet and violet only missing a handful of them and I JUST spent a good chunk of change on getting a physical complete copy of Pokemon Black to play through.
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
i have that 2ds xl that i opened once it's the only game console iv have ever bought that I completely kept clean and complete.
Fees, taxes, shipping, packaging, time, effort… people who ask eBay prices at yard sales or marketplace are completely out to lunch…
Lol when people ask you for a price that includes shipping .....even though the item is literally in your hands at a yard sale
I would pay full ebay list price at a sale just to not have to deal with waiting for shipping and hoping it shows up and in tact 🤣
@@shawnmilian5793 fair enough I guess lol
Quit defending him ripping people off 😂
Love the Twitty pickup!
I had one yard sale where things were priced at ebay rates: They sold me a chronograph, said one sold recently for $100 and got me to pay $20. I looked online and none of them had sold
that whole shelf of le cruset is $$$$$$ all lifetime warranty as well
Good lord, this collection is amazing. I see Pokemon games every now and then but there are so many reproductions.
Like you for not scaming people and instead give them money for the stuff
Don't text them, call them! Way more likely to get a response
People have caught on to these guys lol
I’m either pissed or extremely happy, Because I know for a fact I had Cars VHS when I was a child, should still have it around.
Baja Blast Boys. A real gentlemen’s beverage.
23:31 can you make a video on what these games are lol I’m so lost 😞
Today no sales really.. bought a mobile home hitch for 40, sells $700 consistently on comps. Push weed eater for $30, already sold for 200. Tools r insane for me usually.
So many people trying buy and sell games now has really made it hard find many at garage sales. I go to average 20+ sales almost every weekend and when say, you have games? People like ugh, no. Or they will be asking $10 for stuff not even worth $1 lol.
You should remove the batteries from the DS consoles when they are just on shelves like that, my red 3ds backing cracked when the battery started swelling.
I love your content I'm a game collector to for the playstation and found some grails at flee markets I found a sealed copy of sly 2 for the playstation 2 for 2 euro keep up the good work 👏 😊
One time I was on marketplace guy had an old baseball collection for sale $900 bucks texted him called him for 2 months. No answer about 6 months later I get a phone call out of the blue. Hi my name is so and so I still have these cards you want them....told him $500 he agreed. Picked em up no kidding 1952 Mickey in the middle of the box heavy heavy damage also plenty of other 1950s and 1960s baseball and basketball. I sold the mantle for 80p on ebay and 2 other cards for plus 500 each. I tried calling the guy back to give him some more money make his day.....he apparently passed away during my time selling and looking everything up....idk man sometimes I believe in angels and that man was an angel. God bless.
Chasing after the right price sounds like the guy from bobs burger
Dude me and my friend came to the conclusion you totally sound like the guy from Bob's burgers! Or the voice guy from Archer adult swim...makes me laugh! Makes the video better!
Tina
@Chase After The Right Price can u make a video of the selling of whatnot
Thanks for the great shows. Try calling some of those older people instead of texting.
How y’all find all these yard sales
Chase, I saw in one video that you like to try and get a clean double up on your purchase. But what margin are you generally willing to tolerate? I am sure it varies by Price point given a smaller margin on a more expensive item can still mean a more worthwhile profit.
tried to bid on items but the whatnot site wouldn't let me, maybe being from Canada makes a difference
Got to complete Crystal and the Pikachu 2D XL awesome
As i remember you do resell for like 20 years, right? You didnt had the chance to buy the pokemon items on a garage sale?
"we pay good money for em"
"I'd do $1 on this one" 💀💀
I have 0 issue if people want to list their stuff high. At the end of the day its their stuff, they can list them for whatever they want.
Wondering if anyone can give some solid advice. I’m visiting the states for the first time ever, and I’ll be staying in Cali, Oxnard. Any recommendations of game stores to visit? 👀 And what’s the best way in finding garage sales nearby? Can anyone put me on to some leads please?
PS: Your Pokémon collection is growing! Need to get that Blue soon 😅
One of my favourite collectors
dude, you gotta target Dees, way to hot to not have a go at! they're out there as far as i know
FYI. Mickey Mantle's rookie card is a 1951 Bowman. Not his 1952 Topps.
Do you have Phantom Crash ?
I found the cars vhs at a goodwill bins couple years ago. I got $1100 for it one of my best finds
I went to a creepy, random pawn shop and they had the Pikachu 2DS box for $500… I was out of there fast.
NEED HELP. WHAT IS THE SONG THAT STARTS at 25:40?
I sell on ebay and have 1-2 yard sales a year. For the yard sales I price 25-50 percent below ebay. After fees, etc 25 percent is about a wash. And I can still leave some meat on the bone for resellers….
As a potential reseller, I think I should base the price of my items 100% over the amount I purchased them for. So, if I bought a hat for $5 I would sell it for $10 at a yard sale. Then adjust that number to tickle the flippers and amaze the collector. So, I would sell the hat as much as $15 to $10 depending on the vibe of the purchaser.
If I were greedy I would purchase a hat for $5 and sell it for $25 at a yard sale. Online is different, so if I were selling online I would price just under market value unless it was personal. 😁
I try to double up as well!
You should definitely try to get the new 3DS XL, Pokémon sun and moon edition
I love your findings and all but if i recall on one of your videos a guy made $5000 around about and with ebay taxes and all was around $1500 profit from ebay taxes.. is that right?
Lets get a behind the scenes of you selling and shipping these for the sold value
That exists. Catrp crew is the name of the channel
@@ChaseAfterTheRightPrice awesome ill check it ou
Games, games, games!
Crazy thing is I have 4 of those Jordan cards when I looked them up they were worth nothing.
You guys missed out on the blow molds
I've always wondered why garage sales in the UK aren't a thing
52 mantle is not his rookie
52 topps mantle.. most iconic of his cards despite the 51 bowman
I'd be devastated if my family sold my Pokemon stuff .
I'd cut off communications with family members if certain stuff I have got sold because it's so dang hard to find certain stuff as is especially if you sunk hours in training mons and found shiny Pokemon already / have sentimental value as well.
You need to get the pikachu volkswagen beetle
I frequently have them call their sister, son, brother, daughter, etc, to ask if they want to sell if they're not at the sale. It works surprisingly often. If it doesn't I just usually threaten them with violence and that always works.
😂
every time i watch these videos i just think of all the crap i sold for nothing or threw out
Bro was still pushing after saying he didn’t want to sell the de games 💀
5:37 Id put my prices around the previosuly sold average expecting to be haggled down, id have room to negotiate but yeah nobody would be making profit off me. Sharks vs Sharks nothing wrong there.
The biggest thing that shocked me was how they all lived in mansions lol. I mean they are all millionaires already.
In some kind of regard. You kind of don’t want to tell him they’re worthless
People who list their stuff at Ebay prices obviously don't know much about Ebay...or yard sales for that matter. They don't understand (or don't care i guess) that Ebay takes a cut, PayPal takes a cut, and there's shipping involved. Most people who attend yard sales are looking for killer deals on stuff people just want to get rid often, but don't want to throw away. They come armed with a big stack of singles, not 20s.
Walked right past the blow molds?
Nice!!
I have that card sitting in my moms junk drawer no way I need to go check
I thought you don’t undercut folks anymore
Manhunt is still a forbidden game here in Germany. Stupid censorship nearly as bad as Chases socks 🤣
Don’t be jealous of my socks! 😉
eBay has fees, tax and seller expenses. Your lawn doesn't
Seatbelt trick... No no no
Idk about you guys but I feel that showing up before the sale starts (especially if they say no early birds) is kind of cheap
