I just don't understand why Solotica doesn't do quarterly versions of their yearly lenses. That would totally change the game in comfortability with that new softer material. I wish they would hurry up and do that.
They probably have a big stock! These lenses have a shelf life of 2 to 4 years... so not till they get rid of all that stock

I think I prefer the natural colors only because that pupil hole is more starburst and a little larger because I have an astigmatism in both eyes and I have found the contacts with tight pupil holes tend to move around on my eyes and look buglike but they both look great on you and I do prefer the look of the hidrocors but I just can’t seem to pull of the ones with that extremely small pupil hole. I really appreciate all your reviews, it really helps me to see exactly what each color is made like before I invest into having a specialty astigmatism pair made, it can be expensive, so thank you.
You’re totally right about the pupil hole! I have astigmatism and I can wear these contacts without having any problems.
lol the pupil holes are literally the same size, though. The hydracors just seem tighter because the limbal ring is less pronounced, so it gives off that illusion. But if you were to pause the video on the side-by-side shot, they are literally the same size; there is no difference. I prefer the Natural Colors line a lot more, because they just look more practical, and if you look at people with naturally colored eyes, their eyes too have a limbal ring around them. I currently own the Natural Colors Ocre and I LOVE them. I do want to grab a green color; trying to decide between Mel or AMBAR since those are the only greens available for astigmatism in the Natural Colors line. Leaning toward Ambar since it is slightly darker than Mel, and I like a medium to darker green over a "radioactive" look. Would be cool if they made Jade or Buzios in Natural Colors but I suppose that's to come in a future release. 🤔
The Natural Colors win in each and every way. Sorry to say. People with naturally colored eyes have that slight limbal ring around their eyes. And contrary to popular belief, there IS a such thing as too tight of a pupil. Contacts need to be functional so the person can see. When the pupil is super tight it gives lizard or costume to me. The Natural version of the contacts looked significantly better on you imo. I don't mind the open, doe-ey eyed look, and I prefer to be able to actually see out of my contacts, which makes them more practical for regular use.
Also, just wanted to note, that when you zoomed in on both, the pupil holes on both the Hidrocor and Natural Colors lines were the exact same size. There was literally no difference. The Hidrocor just gives off the "perception" or illusion of a "tighter" pupil, perhaps because of the absence of the limbal ring. But again, I think it gives off a lizard or costume effect without the limbal ring, because even people with naturally light colored eyes have limbal rings around them. Even my own darker colored eyes which are dark brown, have a deep blue limbal ring around them. The Natural Colors version of these contacts look better by miles.
I noticed that too! The pupil hole was the same size when he was wearing both contacts.

I’ve light brown eyes and hidrocor amber perfect for them. Looks amazingly natural. Now I'm looking for a similar one in the new solotica series. Please enlighten me if you know of a similar tone in a different series

Hidrocor Ambar - because they're brighter. Although, I usually don't like the natural collection at all, but these ambar natural are super nice too.

The pupil size needs to be larger, or people will loose their depth perception and loose the ability to drive at night. I once had lenses that had a small pupil and I was constantly "bumping into things" and getting headaches… So, there is a reason other than cosmetic...

Darn ok, I had mel in the past and on me it was so yellow it didnt look natural it was kind of scary, so I wanted to try ambar. Im wanting a more greenish brown than the colour I use now which is buzios. I find buzios to be beautiful on me but its lighter then I would like, Ive worn them for years but I dont want to be too far off my natural. Anyone have any suggestions?

I like this guys reviews but sometimes i can't tell if he's honest, some of he's video he doesn't like hidrocor Parati and other videos he does and he does the same with other contacts opinions, I don't listen to him I just view how the contact looks on him before I purchase

I had no idea the color changed between monthly and yearly. Is it the same case for hidrocore ocre? Do you have a video comparison of OCRE yearly vs monthly?

Are they comfortable? I ordered Buzios from Lens me and they are extremely uncomfortable. Very think. I always order from lens me but I’m not sure what happened 😭
Extremely uncomfortable, unwearable
try running them through a Clear Care cycle and that should relieve it. I wouldn't recommend wearing them straight out of the vials because the liquid they come in are not particularly safe for your eyes. It's best to run them through a Clear Care cycle for at least 6hrs to overnight, PRIOR to the first wear. The first time I tried them on they were slightly uncomfortable but then it went away completely by the 3rd wear. Now I can just pop them in and go at any time. Some contacts, I prefer to use regular multipurpose solution, but for Solotic, Clear Care with Hydraglide is the way to go. The Solotica company also mentions that they may be uncomfortable the first time you put them on, but that it should gradually disappear the more you wear them and they form to your eyes.

I wish the would close the pupils hole for the nc. I love nc but no longer get them cause its so big. Makes my pupils look blown out

Uso atualmente a âmbar natural colors da solotica, mais as acha desconfortáveis. Já pedi ajuda a muitos UA-camrs brasileiros, mais eles só querem likes, e inscritos.
Mais já fazem 2 anos que peço ajuda de indicação de lentes de contato coloridas com grau + para hipermetropia, que sejam confortáveis, e apesar deles comentarem que a solotica é desconfortável, nunca me responderam. SÓ QUEREM INSCRITOS E LIKES! 😔😢
Pq você acha desconfortável? Chegou a irritar seus olhos? Eu tenho miopia e comprei uma hidrocor grafite meses atrás, um lado chegou normal mas o outro veio com a borda grossa e consequentemente machuca meu olho, vou ter que jogar fora.
