I read that you can use to sous vide!!! Hoping that’s true. wondering how exactly it would work. I don’t have a sous vide currently and want the proofer for my sourdough but would be more willing to pay for this model if it can do sous vide as well as the proofing and slow cooking functions
Yes, the proofer works for Sous Vide! You simply need to use a stainless steel pot placed directly onto the proofer heating plate with the unit set to slow-cook mode. Then, you can set the temperature you'd like the water bath to reach. We do recommend using a probe thermometer to double-check the water temperature. Let us know if you have any other questions!
I always had trouble getting the right temperature and a good rise for my bread. A few years ago I bought one of these and I now get an excellent rise every time. It's been worth every penny I paid for it. Great product.
