- Chester "Chet" Marlon Hanks, born on August 4, 1990, is an American actor and musician known for his roles on television series such as Empire, Shameless, and Your Honor. He is the son of actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.
Chet Hanks is the third child of Tom Hanks and the first child born to him and actress Rita Wilson. He attended the Oakley School in Utah during his high school years and later studied theater at Northwestern University, where he was involved in the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Hanks has an older half-brother, actor Colin Hanks. Following the Family business, Hanks' acting career began with his role as Dexter in the 2007 film Bratz. He continued to build his acting portfolio through various television and film roles, gaining momentum particularly after achieving sobriety. Notable appearances include roles in Shameless, Empire, and the miniseries Your Honor.
In addition to acting, Hanks has pursued music. During his time at Northwestern University, he recorded music under the alias Chet Haze. Later, he formed the duo FTRZ and released music under the name Something Out West.
Hanks has a daughter named Michaiah, born in 2016, from a previous relationship. He credits his daughter and his parents for supporting him through challenges with substance abuse. In 2020, Hanks, along with his parents, was granted Greek citizenship in recognition of their efforts to raise awareness for the 2018 Attica wildfires.
Hanks has been involved in several controversies, often contrasting with his father's wholesome public image. These include legal issues and public incidents, such as his "White Boy Summer" video and controversial remarks about COVID-19 vaccination.
Hanks has expressed support for movements such as Black Lives Matter and has been vocal about political issues on social media, including criticism of former President Donald Trump.
Overall, Chet has carved out a distinct path in entertainment while navigating the challenges and controversies that come with his public persona.

If you're still a minor when you complete the program. Then they hv to legally return you bk to your parents.... Judges dont question why this back & forth of legal rts over a minor child....

What if they get shady cuz of liability & refuse to sign bk over your rts as a parent.... What rts w/burial etc would a parent hv.... Thats too MUCH TRAUMA & RISK. Think about the parents who couldn’t do anything to help their out of control child. The thought of your child having a horrible life or worse, is heartbreaking. Also, you need to consider the fact that his parents have seen other celebrities kids die from overdose, die from dui accidents, kill innocent people in dui accidents, get hooked on hard drugs, become alcoholics, and worse. These are kids that, yes, come from money but that’s not always a good thing. Unlimited resources to a confused and immature rebellious child can have catastrophic consequences. His parents loved him enough to do anything but let him continue ruining his life. Lastly, you need to consider that nobody, including his parents, knew any of the damage or negative consequences that this could have. Hind sight is always 20/20. We could look back at any time period and say you shouldn’t have done this or that but keep in mind people were doing the best they could with the information they had at the time.
