Kevin Iole's choices for Fight of the Night and Performance of the Night at UFC 300

- Wow, it's almost time for UFC 300! On Saturday, April 13 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the greatest MMA card ever put together will take place. The card is so incredibly deep that the first fight of the night will feature a pair of former UFC champions in the opener, when ex-flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo faces former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt.
I have made picks to win every fight, and I have also recommended a few betting plays, which you can find here: www.keviniole.com/2024/04/07/...
But for fun in this one, I decided to make me picks before the fight for the post-fight bonuses winners. The UFC will award $300,000 bonuses to each fighter involved in the Fight of the Night, and will give out two $300,000 Performance of the Night bonuses.
With 12 current or former UFC champions on the card and so many dead even matches, it's not hard to pick.
But this is how I see them coming out. Let me know in the comments who you think will take them.

Kevin do you really think fighters are trying to get a bonus or just win? I see bonuses as ways to keep fighters from speaking out against fighter pay
I think most of them are. Everyone is different, of course. But that money is a motivating factor. The reason Dana gave the bonuses and the reason he still does is to push them for finishes and exciting fights. He didn't like the boxing matches where guys would stay on the outside and not engage. He felt that by bonusing guys for great fights, it would create competition and have them going for it. I think largely he's gotten what he wants.

every fight this card really feels like a coin flip who takes it. except bo obviously, because bo is special he gets fed cans and main card placement.
I think they think Bo will be a superstar and so they want him in that position for fans to get familiar with him.

Men arguing over other dudes just doesn't make sense for me. everyone has their own opinion on what's gonna happen. Nothing wrong with that. The fighters couldn't care less either because they get paid. People need to relax and just enjoy
