Stray Kids are super talented. They can all rap, sing and dance. Even more impressive, they produce their own music, write their own lyrics and create their own concepts. I recommend you read the lyrics. Once you go down the Stray Kids rabbit hole it’s impossible to get out!
Stray Kids produce and write their own music. The producing unit consists of 3 members: Bang Chan (Leader), Changbin and Han Jisung. The other members also participates in composing their songs. They are talented as hell!
Yup, Felix hooks another one....The blond with the deep voice is Felix. He's from Australia and did not speak Korean much when he joined JYP at age 17. His hair color is most likely to be blond-ish, but for their recent live concert it was black. "Red-haired guy" in Maniac is Hyunjin, he's getting well known for dancing. He had the white zigzag hair decorations on his black hair in Thunderous. Chan, the leader is also from Australia, he had the blue hair in Maniac and the red hair in Thunderous; he trained with Got7, Twice and some other JYP groups; he knows Jungkook from BTS because they are in a '97 line social group for idols. Lee Know who had purple hair in Maniac and sort of reddish blondish hair in Thunderous, was a backup dancer for BTS for a while before deciding he wanted to become an idol himself. Other than that, the two groups are in different agencies and 3rd gen vs 4th gen, and also really busy so they don't hang out together lots. Apparently Chan has known Lisa from Blackpink since trainee days, but Chan pretty much knows everyone in kpop, he's that kind of guy.
They debuted with 9 members but one left in late 2019, there have been 8 since then. Their first world tour was interrupted by the pandemic, and they are just starting their 2nd now. They had their first live concert in Seoul a few days ago.
I would highly recommend watching the Kingdom: Legendary War series. It has 6 great groups competing (Ateez, Ikon, BTOB, the Boyz, and SF9 in addition to Stray Kids) but also in some cases working together, with performances that actually live up to the Legendary title. Ikon did a cover of Blackpink's Classy Savage on it (they are in the same agency) and Stray Kids did an awesome incredible cover of Blackpink's DDu Du Ddu Du Ddu mashed lightly with their own God's Menu which is one of my favorite things ever. Be sure to watch both originals before watching the cover. Also take a look at Stray Kids Miroh, Side Effects and Back Door--they have performances of the first two, and BTOB covers the last one in a way that is even more amazing if you've watched the show to see how much of a stretch it was for them stylistically. You can watch just the performances, or the performances with reactions by the other performers (subs are only for the comments, not the performances) but there is some benefit to watching the actual episodes because you get all kinds of cool behind the scenes background on how they put performances together and how the groups relate to one another, it is really heartwarming for a competition show, they seem to respect one another a lot. One of the challenges had them combining into two megateams that competed in rap, dance and vocals, and all 6 of those performances are fire.
In thunderous chan had orange hair in back door he had red hair (angry bird )
@@maggiegalani6882 Well, I guess you could call it red, red-orange or orange and people would probably know what you meant, since he's the only one in the video with that type of hair. I call it "red" because both my sisters are natural "red-heads" and their hair is much much more orange colored than Chan's in Thunderous. I've watched Thunderous at least a dozen times and it never even occurred to me to call that color "orange" but you're probably more correct.
Well, if Felix (deep voice) is your bias, you've got to hear "God's Menu" next. I've watched multiple videos on just people's reaction to his part specifically in that song . He isn't even my bias (Lee Know is. I love a savage and I've been deceased since the Maniac fancam was released by KBS so pray for me), but it's entertaining to see people shocked by his talent.

btw there are eight members, not nine! they debuted as nine but woojin left the group in late 2019 (I think that’s right). Woojin is now debuted as a soloist and his music is great!

@@Loonaurtheworld yes ofc! welcome to stayville! The official statement was that Woojin left for ‘personal reasons’ although a lot of us think it’s that what he wanted to do musically didn’t match up with skz. as you are a new stay, I’ll give you a bit more info on woojin.
a few months after he left, there were (now proven false) sexual harassment accusations made against him via an anonymous Twitter user. a lot of toxic stays still send hate to woojin despite the fact that he’s fully innocent. if you are interesting in the full story, I recommend the videos “The finger killer” (a documentary made by his new label on how they disproved the claims) and “How Kim woojin became the villain of kpop”. On a lighter note, Woojin is doing well with his new music so please check it out if you want~ :)

That is so sad to hear. I guess that webtoon ( Lost in translation ) about a group and 1 member becoming the villain to protect de rest of the members is spot on seeing so much stuff behind k-pop.

@@ChloeMayReacts there were a lot of allegations made against him 😳 I think most have been proven false (luckily), however a lot of fans don't like him because of the way he has acted after leaving (I'd look into it yourself if you're interested though as there a lot of mixed opinions) and the things the members have hinted abt him 😬
@@ChloeMayReacts JYPE never said why he left, they only released a statement explaining that for personal reasons he would be leaving the group. It was very unexpected because they were about to make a comeback, the guys had to re-record a lot of things, re-learn choreography, re-organize the tour they were on. We never knew the real reason he left, but it must have been something serious where he broke the rules of his contract because it is not common for companies to let someone go so easily without a lawsuit being involved.
that’s speculation. For one thing JYP would have blacklisted him if he did something wrong. Which means he would not had been able to debut in Korea.
For all we know 10X entertainment bought out his contract. 🤷♀️
He left for personal reasons with JYP’s public blessing and then was Cyber Attacked and falsely accused by a Stay (on the other side of the world mind you) because She Was Angry with him for leaving. And then Stay started making shit up like he must have been a bully because of the allegation. Then when he was proven innocent by the Police he was working with the Whole time, stay just says “we don’t talk about him”. Toxic af. He never did anything wrong except he left. And it was sad. But he has debuted since then and he has some really wonderful songs like Still Dream. Kim Woojin was Straykids Main Vocal. He was with the group for nearly 2 years. And some of their best songs are from that era. That’s the music that saved my life and I refuse to ignore it. It makes me so angry when baby stay try to act like Straykids started with gods menu and not Hellevator.
Since he left there are no fixed positions but Leader.
Seungmin in Main vocal though. Chris said so(leader of SKZ). Minho is in charge of dance and Changbin in charge of rap, but everyone does everything

Stray Kids discography is incredibly diverse, highly recommend reading lyrics btw because they write some amazing stuff. The songs you listened to already are on the more harder/rap heavy, which they have a lot of lol. They also have more vocal focused, party songs, soft songs, etc.
Some of my favs: TA, Domino (watch the dance practice), Charmer, Blueprint, Red Lights, Neverending Story (the live version), Surfin, Star Lost (lyric video only), Scars, Back Door, The View, Boxer, Oh, Side Effects, Get Cool, Astronaut, Placebo, and a ton more lol
There is also a lot of other content with Skz as they do a lot of reality shows, deeper personal/duo interviews (thats currently going on now), Chan's Room every week, Vlogs, Kingdom, etc. They all have such great personalities, Felix (your bias) is a super sweetie of stage. He's called Sunshine for a reason lol.
Red hair in Maniac: Hyunjin (long black hair in Thunderous, long blonde hair in Venom)
Blonde hair in Maniac: Felix (he's blonde most of the time, though currently is black)
Little facts about them:
- They are mostly self produced. Leader Bang Chan (red hair in Thunderous), Changbin (rapper at the start of Thunderous) and Han (rapper in the subway in Maniac) are known as 3racha and own almost every Stray Kids' songs.
- Leader Bang Chan (kindest person on earth and fandom protector) selected the members himself. The reality show after that was to prove the company (JYP) they were good enough to debut together (spoiler alert: They were).
- Bang Chan and Felix are from Australia and they'll let you know it frequently.
- Lee Know (mirror guy in Venom) used to be BTS background dancer when he was 17.
- They make a lot of MV's, even for b-side songs...

Your reactions are great. I got the same ones the first time I heard them. I became a “Stay” in one song. I didn’t really listen to Kpop before, but they grabbed me and I don’t regret it at any time. Not a day goes by without them in my ears. And they opened me up to other styles of Kpop.

Stray kids are a very interesting and unique group. They produce their own music and their songs are very relatable and they talk about all kind of topics in their songs. Just get to know their personalities and you won't stop laughing.😂Each member can do everything perfectly. They have a very lovely friendship and are hilarious.😂 U are definitely goona enjoy as you get to know them more. As you reacted to more rap or hiphop based songs today, they actually have very beautiful songs too where you will be able to discover their singing skills.❤

Zero For Conduct was one of the first songs in kpop (except BTS, GOT7, Seventeen, Stray kids, Golden Child songs back in 2017) that I ever heard and I fell IN LOVE. Even my friends who hates Kpop freaked out because of this song.
