I was actually in pain, just thinking, why?, i mean i'm an amateur and i understand that in terms of finger patterns/string crossing/intonation it can actually be more comfortable depending on the passages but that cannot be the case for every passage, besides, wouldn't that make her sound less resonant/ more tense?, hence, making it not suitable for every situation depending on the color that is required?
I see no 3/4 violins. They all look the same size. I will say that my violin teacher's teacher had to use a 3/4, even though she was a professional because she is a very small woman. So, it could be possible. In the case of this video, I think it is the camera angle creating an illusion.
All I can say is that I love listening to the first movement of Beethoven's fifth. It always makes me feel like I've been on a journey somewhere,
ICONIC music!
Amazing, I love the blonde lady, she played everything in high positions and so confident, just like a pro.
