I think is is the exact problem my 750ss is giving me. I just bought one yesterday, runs great until about half throttle or more when I punch it it just cuts. I was able to get it to about 20/30 but at a point it just dies down. Going to try and pull these carbs to check the pressure
Hello teacher I have a kawasaki 750 ss jet ski with a carburetor and when I touched it I miscalibrated it, it would help me with how many low and high revs
Quick question how do you tune the the carburetor? I have similar model it does have the duel carburetor. When I gas it it boggs down and dies. I'm guessing it's getting too much fuel. I don't know how to adjust the carburetor? Any help is appreciated 🙏
I have got a Kawasaki 750 ss xi good compression, leak down, reeds, spark plugs. Runs great out out water but under load in the water it bogs down. Any idea of the problem?
Man what a helpful video! I bought a 97 kawasaki ss750 with a damaged stator cover. I replaced the cover and using the existing stator. Do I have to retime the engine? I rotated the engine (by hand) while the cover and stator were removed to make sure the motor wasn't seized up. Do I need to re time the motor because I rotated the motor with the cover off? If so, can you post a video on how to time these 750's? Any info is appreciated.
@Jake Riddle the flywheel has a woodruff key that lines it up to the crank. No timing adjustment on a 750 engine. On a 650 you can turn the stator plate counterclockwise from the center mark the thickness of a nickel to advance it 3 degrees.
Several places online for parts. Wsmparts / sbtontheweb /. It purpose was to allow water or excess fuel / oil vent from the case”gravity”. If the engine is flooded with water you can pull the release and it will drain from the crank case.

Def sounds like a carb or fuel delivery issue. Bet if you pop the carbs off you will find something.

1-1/4 to 1-1/2 on low speed screw. 1 on the high will get you close. There is no exact setting but that should be close.

If the ski is bone stock the carbs likely need a rebuild. 1-1/4 on low speed. 1 turn on high speed screw a good starting point.

Fuel delivery or timing.
Most times the carbs are way out of wack. give them a good going over. Check pop off and make sure it’s not to high.
I have a question.
Where are the starter relay and igniter located on this model?
inside the grey box behind the motor.
You know your stuff
Very good information
great video sir!
Great video. What is the correct pop-off pressure?
Around 23 psi if stock.
@@865-customz how many turns is your low and hi settings?
@@205driven 1-1/4 low - 1 high screw to start.
adjust low speed
screw on the water to find the sweet spot.
Whats your jet sizes? Thanks again!

Timing on the flywheel will not change unless you move the pickup coil on the front of the engine. Timing will stay the same.
@@865-customz Also, the previous owner pulled the flywheel to replace the starter would that be a job that would require re timing?
@@865-customz I swapped the existing coil and stator from my damaged cover to the new stator cover. Do I need to re time?

What’s the right spark plug size or part number for that
NGK BR8ES
Just picked up a 94 st 750. What’s the pull cable next to the muffler?
Case vent. Most people block it off or at least check it for leaks. It’s really unneeded.
@@865-customz thanks for the reply. i’m new to jet skis what the purpose for that? And where’s the best place to gets parts. i need a new wear ring
