    The defensive mechanism Zola has is way too deep! Sizwe said "there cannot be a solution when people see no problem" then he highlighted the problems.

      I wasn't aware that Zola was so knowledgeable when it comes to African history. I learnt a lot.

    Zola couldn't deal with the fact that the dude is gifted - as a host you probe rather than attacking your guest "losing your smile is a sign of dissatisfaction"

    Mr Sizwe Maphindane thank you so much Bhuti Omdala so much respect for people like you who are containing feeding us more and more knowledge, yes some of might know that makes us the minority who are exposed to the truth. but before we come with the Solution we need to have more shows that are well preparing our people to clear know everything before jumping to conclusion. Not everyone knows Majority of our black society and community they still trapped in the system, before we tackle this issue lets take our time prepare our people first as much as they took time preparing to take us down.

    Sizwe is on point. Zola should not presume that black people (especially in the townships/rural areas) have the information and the knowledge that he has cos they don't. Maphindani is right that the masses should first realise they are slaves before the demand change. Few who are educationally privileged are aware of the root of our problem, majority are not.

      I get that but equally SAns should move beyond just identifying problems without a detailed practical solutions, this has opened up space for us being in the problem we find ourselves in. We believe the is white is simple white and solution is simple black. Why ANC have proved not to be the solution we were hoping for and they keep using the "I am black like you" card while their do not benefit the black masses.

    • @athimbutuma9149
      @athimbutuma9149 3 роки тому

      For me they are both correct, Zola comes from a background of practical solutions from his TV programs such as Zola 7 and Hope with Zola. We need to move forward to that kind of a nation. China did it, Africa can do it, we can't be forever identifying problems without a step by step practical solutions. Otherwise we are likely to not be able to identify right candidates to take us forward.

    "we know that, we know that", Zola is making this about him and it's not; what he is a a host of a platform this dude should be using to educate Masses of Ignorant South Africans; people don't have the info the arrogant Zola has, I didn't even know the Lemba traded with the Persians, and definitely Zola doesn't know everything this dude has in his mind I just don't know how he gets so puffed up, he definitely can't in so few minutes detail everything.

    I've read the book and I would have to agree with Zola that 70% of the stuff in book is what we know already. Also the corona virus conspiracy theory at the end of the books is just that a conspiracy theory that I don't buy into. All in alll you have to give the brother some credit to the title - very powerful. The book generally speaking is actually not that bad and the psychological question it raises is crucial to the answer of many of our problems and I think that's where brother Zola got it wrong.

    No! Zola had a point too and He is 💯 right!
    Firstly its being naive to think WE DON'T SEE A PROBLEM 🤷‍♂️... How the guest delivered or conveyed his first was wrong... He was supposed to bash the system not the people...

    In all honesty, we've had these conversations as black people, over and over again and like Zola is saying, it's now kind of tiring because all we ever hear and read about are the attacks on the stupid mentality blacks possess and how they sleeping on the realities of this country especially economically.
    We need a solution. What this gentleman is saying here has been said before, has been written before. The likes of Steve Biko diagnosed this problem decades ago and the subject alone is tad tired. We need solutions on how to change things, radically. Also, what I'm picking up from this gentleman here is major criticism on black people. He makes no mention of the rich cultures we have, he makes no mention of the fact that black people have been striving and really smart to survive under the circumstances, the stokvels, the burial societies, those are arguably very clever ways we've utilised as a nation to make things better for ourselves. I don't think our counterparts would survive a day in our shoes. Give us some credit Maan!

    But again what is the solution. We can not always rant about the issues we have as black communities, but again what is the solution.

    I’m surprised that people are saying Zola is unreasonably here when this man is just regurgitating old info said by a number of so called “woke people”. We KNOW the education system is messed up, so??? Where’s the solution?

    Firstly its a disappointment to see that only few of our people showed response to this amazing topic and some were just emotional about Zola this and that instead of looking at the bright side (Come out with a point or solution). And lets keep this simple (Tell me what you know, and i will tell you what i know) i think that the only solution we gonna be able to help ourselves. Lets stop arguing and start Uniting as a Nation
