Oooh, I'm tuning in now. Btw, I consider Sid Meyer's Civilization series as cozy games too, even though they're also challenging and at times very frustrating.
(paraphrased) Question: will the game be challenging enough for the player Answer: we are focussing on finishing the core elements Welll... yeah. That should say all. There was not the slightest sign of "we want this game wants to have deep, difficult gameplay". This kind of thoughts would have been made BEFORE finishing the core features, because they influence the core features. You cannot really add much gameplay depth if it wasn't in planning already when creating the core features Fits to the old answer that this game will not have difficulty settings cuz it doesn't need it Makes me think that Paralives doesn't intend to cater to anyone else than cozy gamers
be patient. The game could still be in development for a year before it enters Early Access. To complain now even though you don't know anything about it yet? please.. It should be clear to everyone that they don't immediately say what they plan to do and we don't know what the core functions include in detail. Please give them the time they need.
what has patience to do with basic gamedesign decisions they must have already done quite a while ago? (I am - funnily enough - very patient, i buy most games years after release in deepsale) Missing transparency is one thing - but i genuinly wish they'd give finally a definite answer to the question I've asked them so many times, if the game will have gameplay players in mind, or for example if they plan to have shallower gameplay than Sims 4 That's... kinda important to know, to know if you are a potential player or not. I get that answering this question might drive a lot of patreons away, but I wanna know regardless ^^
@@Thyana-ig5no Buying things on deep sale is not the same as being patient that just means you care about your money you can still be impatient while looking out for how much you spend. Also what they mean to say in less sanitized terms is stfu and let them work on basic shit like character animations and the building system before they start figuring out the more complex things like social dynamics YOU may think that's the most important and basic thing but much like most mfs that don't know anything about game development it's usually more complex than you think and you just gotta let em cook before whining about it and if you don't like it just go play Inzoi when it releases.
I am sure you're not trying to shoot down every kind of questions or feedback. In case you do, i ask you to think about if you know a single game where such a strategy was helpful.
@@Thyana-ig5no No not really it's just extremely obvious they're still early in development and aren't ready for more complex systems yet. Like they're still working on animations for characters to do basic functions for instance they just showed off the other day work in progress idle animations for babies. Difficulty scaling comes later my dude.
@@marsbarzart To answer both of you it's probably because she's busy being the mom of a newborn baby and can only make limited amounts of videos and probably hasn't had enough time to look into Inzoi enough to form an opinion on it.
Thank you for an amazing and informative video as usual ❤️
I am so looking forward to this game.
