I love at the beginning of the song when he goofed a slide and shakes is head like "oh that wasn't right" and then slams the rest of the track. Andy is just a regular guy who's really fucking good on guitar, that's why I love him Also Ive been learning this song and it's a lot harder than it looks, a lot of feel in there
Same - learning it currently, should have a playthriugh up in a week or so Amazing song, gives me chills, and learning it I have attached it to a very important thing that I am going through and someone who means the world to me - my Son I got emotional the first time I nailed most of it through - was such a weird feeling He is 8 and I haven’t seen him for a year, or spoke, nothing But he was around to see my parents a few weeks ago and my Mum was showing him pics of me with my guitars and he suddenly a week later wanted to play guitar ❤ So I got him a great learner one, Fender nylon 3/4 Will be seeing him soon, want to have this dialed in so I can play it for him, and he can see that Dad can play guitar - despite what his mother tells him lol It’s such an emotional song, so much feel, I love the chorus- it’s beautiful ❤ Hope you’re still playing my friend
@@thefourthwritedjentleman3643 Hey brother, i came across your comment. I hope that you were able to see your son and spent quality time with him. Best of luck for both of you
Just a beast!! At least I feel a tad bit better, he made 2 mistakes....at the beginning then in the middle right before the tap section. He's by far my favorite modern player. I strive to play half as good as Andy. At least now I know even Gods can make a minor booboo ever great once in a while....
Presumably Andy James was playing at the Boss booth at NAMM to promote some Boss gear. I wonder what gear that was? It’s not really my tone, but way more people will see this video on UA-cam than could have been there in person. Maybe Boss recorded also and will post with background about products used? Mic to hear a “shredder” who focuses on alternate picking rather than sweeps.

Andy's smoothness and melodicism make him my favorite up-and-coming guitarist. Looking forward to a lot from him in the future!
GOOSE BUMPS... everytime time i hear this song
This should be called 'Always with me, Always with you Pt.2' Its that good.
I mean no disrespect to Satriani, but After Midnight is so much better.
@@mister.karate totally
Way better
@@mister.karate I agree. Way better
@@mister.karate Yep i prefer it, it’s harder to play on guitar too lol
This song, not Always with me
But they share a lot of similarities

Listening to this song played in live tastes differently better than the youtube playthrough version! ❤
He is absolutely amazing !!.

Best guitar man in the world!!!

0:33 > Error is sublime and machines can never boast about it, because they don't feel error like we do.

‘Nice” to hear . . .
I think he was playing through the Boss Katana Artist MKII. That amp line is incredible.
Hampir saja lolos tadi ,😂🤭🤣
Im waiting for the wrong note .. damn cant hear one ... andy the master james
0:34 one wrong note haha
yeah there was wrong note.
There are 2. At the easy parts of all things but he's slaying the rest
0:10 ... ... ...
You leave it the f*** alone!
Bodom after midnight !!!
I must have been stood next to you :D
This is mine ua-cam.com/video/eRAPqZ8FkQY/v-deo.html
I gotta know that amplifier sound he is using🔥
Probably the Boss Katana Artist MK2, and I think it’s just the 1x12 combo. That’s looks like what he’s plugged into in other videos.
Andy is playing on the big stage with FFDP right now!
Andy made a mistake... I might shit
Jesus F******* Christ.
He is a good play but not confident.
