To clean stove glass, just moisten a paper towel, touch the towel to the ash in the stove. Gently rub the ash on the glass. It will clean the glass right away.

A person learns respect for authority from their parents as they grow up. If the family unit is disintegrated, weak, or compromised, then offspring will not receive that training and it will hurt them later on in life when they interface with public authorities. The family unit must stay together and stay strong especially when there are children involved.

This is just myself but your channel and maybe two others are the only ones I watch regardless of the run time. I find you’re not chocking me with click baite or endless filler with no substance and your sponsored videos are well balanced and don’t leave me thinking I just watch an 18 minute infomercial. The other draw for me is the personal level that you share, it leaves me wishing you well and invested in seeing you achieve your long and short term goals. ( I find I usually hit on videos that run 10-15 minutes tops with other creators)
It’s my feeling that a lot of what you might leave on the “ cutting room floor” would make up for some pretty good shorts.
I’m sure things that you might view as tedious, be it prepping or clean up, general maintenance or even just filming bloopers would make for some entertaining shorts.

Morgan's, if you read this regarding stove glass. The easiest way I have found to clean glass is simple and cheap. With the stove cool, wet 2 or 3 paper towels not dripping wet, dip in the ash from inside the stove and clean glass in circular motions. It will cut that soot off the glass like you read about. Not abrasive and will not damage the glass. Wipe with clean wet paper towel then dry with a paper towel. The coals, I comb over to one side separating the totally burned ash for removal. Then spread the coals for a nice base if you are firing the stove up again. Those coals were more than enough for a new fire but you all knew that. Try the ash trick. As far as the shorts? Depends what you are doing in the Vids. Hard to show equipment/tools in action and comment on performance of tools and methods in a short vid. You videos as you produce them have been one of my favorites as is. They are not filled with useless comments and content and they are quite the opposite. As long as you make them, I will be checking them out. Always interesting. Thank you.

To clean the glass on my woodstove, I just take a wet paper towel, dip it in the wood ash, and wipe off all the grime. It works amazingly well! No chemicals, odors, or mess (other than dirty paper towels). That corner molding looks nice and is easily replaced. Corners can really take a beating and easy replacement is convenient and keeps everything looking nice. Artificial intelligence? Well, that's what you get when basic human intelligence is in short supply. And right along those lines, it's always good to have a means of self-defense. Leaving that means just lying about is hazardous. I find that always having that means on me not only makes it available at all times, it also allows me to control access to it. I live in the country, so any 911 response may take some time. A lot can happen before help arrives! It has nothing to do with fear, but everything to do with being prepared. I don't mind the Shorts. Sometimes they are nice when I don't have the time to sit down and watch for a long time. I love all of your videos and have come to look at you as part of my inner circle. I look forward to every video! Thanks for putting them out!

I am a retired Lieutenant of Police from the NYC Police Department and my hobby is target shooting, reloading ammunition, casting lead bullets and generally everything involving firearms and their feeding. I am 80 years old and I recently brought firearm number 25 into my possession.
This is a 9 MM compact semi auto by Smith and Wesson,. It is called the Shield 2.0 EZ CT. It has features like very easy retraction of the slide and a built in crimson trace laser sighting system. The mag capacity is only 8 rounds but with another in the chamber it has 9 rounds ready to go. It is small and light and easy to conceal.
With an alien gear IWB holster it is quite comfortable to carry and after a few hours you will hardly feel that you are packing a firearm. You might want to consider getting one and packing it every time you leave the house. It is better to have a firearm when you do not intend to use then to not have one when you do need one.

Mike, I'm a bit older than you and grew up going through the BSA. One of the things that we were taught and I still hold dear is, "Be Prepared"! That can be the fuel transfer tank you have. So you're working on something and almost run out of fuel but don't want to stop to go to town to get some. You are prepared for that, therefore it is not a big deal. Which is the whole thing about being prepared as you are, things don't become huge problems but are only little inconveniences. That is one of the traits that we respect about you/your family, you think/plan ahead. Agree about the shorts, not a real fan, but also don't tend to watch many videos that are over an hour in length. Especially if it is on a channel that we do not watch very much.

It tryly is the signs of the times when the media companies such as UA-cam have to favor the short videos. It's just one more indication that, instead of addressing the problems of society, such as snort or no attention span, that as a whole we have to cater to them. Thanks for your content and keep up the good work.

I like the shorts, it gets straight to the point on a subject without a bunch of fluff.
I like the long videos too. Keep ‘em coming.

Here's an idea, do some live videos from inside the building by the stove. You could call it Fireside Chats with The Morgan's or Morgan's Live Fireside Chats, or something similar. It's just something about sitting around a fire that's so relaxing.

Just something that I saw when you were using the Split fire. On the larger rounds, square it up like you do on the sawmill. Then the meat of the round will split more square for the bundle wood. Guess it's just the perspective that we viewer's see when looking down from above. Keep up with the good content and do what you need to do to keep You Tube happy. Really enjoy every video that you post.

First let me say that I do look at shorts but I would hate to lose your 30 min videos. I'm thrilled the shorts will be monetized. I always pray that the good people on UA-cam are payed well because they give us good, clean, real life, not the pure filth on regular TV. You do change up your content and that's good, but Mike, I've been following you for going on 6 maybe close to 7 years and I've never been bored! Second, be prepared. I know this is extreme but it's just me. My sidearm is a part of my clothing. My belt, my keys and my wallet are a part of my pants. I'm sitting on my bed right now typing. All those aforementioned things are on my pants now. I'm not leaving my house today unless something comes up. But this is how I live. When I undress, my EDC is laid beside my pillow. My belt, keys, wallet and phone go to the exact same place always. I'm never away from my protection. My EDC stays beside my pillow until I put my pants on. I keep my micro Ruger 380 in the bathroom, so when I'm showering, I'm still near my protection. My neighborhood is currently wonderful - but change is coming. I wear mine all the time because I am not dressed wout it. I have always had a concealed carry permit, since my 20's but I carried before I got my permit. My current permit is valid till '26. Here in NC they are 5 year permits. I was a boyscout, then a boyscout assistant scout master the years my boys were in scouts. So yeah, always prepared! I'd like to thank you again for introducing us to Tom Hausses channel and the Adlers. The Morgans are part of my daily life. The days you don't post, I watch an older video. You know how UA-cam will offer videos to watch, well your videos are always in my screen. You never get boring! As always I cant thank you enough for sharing and giving people good content in a world immersed in filth. Bless you and your family. Hey, why not ask Josh and Erin to be their first customers in their b&b, it's almost finished. Love you guys!👍🚜❤🇺🇸🇺🇸

It has been a crazy winter this year in western PA. On my farm the ground is so saturated that when you walk on the grass you sink into the ground. I am looking forward the temperature and the ground freezing some. You are so correct about protecting yourself. I am like you folks when it gets dark, it gets quiet and when action starts it gets my attention. So glad to hear that Hunter is doing well. Be safe out there and prayers for all.

As I watched your video I looked over and my weather station had the temp here in CO at -9 below. It will be cold for the rest of the week but still in low double digits. I totally agree with you things change and fast sometimes. I live in rural CO but half way between Denver and Colorado Springs and the growth is moving in but the economy in my opinion will not get much better for a good while and people do stupid things from time to time. Good to be prepared with the pew as things get too close sometimes. Not that I am a recluse but I just am cautious when you are alone.

I was lucky as I had a metal shop before I retired but, consider having one your buddies make you a nice big metal dust (ash) pan. Something about a half inch smaller than the inside of the stove and nice tall sides. One scoop and take it outside to the covered metal ash can, done. Doesn't work for guys that want to save coals for reburn but for what I do and what it looks like you're doing, it's great. 👍

I find the *SHORTS* very addictive... which I"m sure is part of the algorithm. I only watch a few long-format videos, but the shorts fill in the gaps between larger ones... I've seen your stuff in there and I skip them b/c I've usually already seen them.
