I really love the front of the superstition mountains. I grew up hiking around there and loved it. Back in 2004 or so, there was a really wet winter. That spring, the entire front of superstition mountain was covered in flowers.
Encelia farinosa grows all over the hills behind my house here in Southwestern Utah, and it’s one of my favorite native plants! It’s so gorgeous during the winter. Thanks for making this amazing video! The Sonoran desert is my absolute favorite eco region of all time, that Justicia californica is so dope. I had no idea Arizona had a species of Justicia.
Very Nice!! Love the wildflowers! Did you see any California Poppies? I usually see them on South Mountain, McDowell's or Picacho… I didn't see any at Lost Dutchman.
Queen of Rose Thorns it’s funny because I didn’t see as many poppies in the east valley this year. In 2019 I saw a lot more. I just checked out your channel. I love it. Very cool that you love roses so much. Have you seen the rose garden out at Boyce Thompson Arboretum before? There are so many rose species I’ve never heard of out there and there are a lot that don’t have the traditional rose smell. Thanks again friend.
@@keeparizonawild156 Thank you! I have been to Boyce Thompson... but it was years ago... I must have missed the roses! I can't believe I would have missed them... I guess I will have to go back one day. Thanks for the info on the wildflowers -- very good!
Hi ! Nice videos. Are any of theses wild plants found in El Paso, Texas? I’m looking for wild allies but don’t know where to look here. Thank you for your time.
Here in tucson days of seeing wild flowers are a thing of the past. Even cactus are having a hard time surviving since southern Arizona is becoming a wasteland. This year's (2020) monsoon gave about 4 days of measurable rain in the season. I now call it the humid season because that's all it is.
Love your videos
Thank you!

Last 2 monsoons have been really good
What happened to Indian paintbrush
Nothing happened to it. It just didn’t make the list. It’s a great one though. I need to make another video with more plants/flowers
