I'd love to see Summerslam 94. One of the best slams ever. I was 10 back than and I loved the Undertaker vs Undertaker Story. And that Hart vs Hart Steel Cage Match... 👏👏👏
Telling again and again Bryan Danialson vs Omega vs Tayler Black(Seth Rollins) ROH Bound by Hate 08. That's great call back looking at where all three are now.
I remember watching Mankind v The Rock when I was a kid. I was devastated that The Rock turned but it meant I could love Mankind again with my whole heart.
he's a man.. such a man... god damn its a guilty pleasure of favourite wrestling themes, also simon you are one of my favourites for how comedic you are, the respect you deserve for actually going into the ring with alot of potential, if i can give a idea for retro ppv.. how about a old NJPW show for a interesting challenge
IIRC the chairshot to Stone cold was called on the fly because the Big Boss man was supposed to intervene but he was getting briefed on the next match, so they improvised and in order to protect stone colds neck it was a weak shot
@@dreddscott3873 incorrect. Westlemania was just a ladder match. The fact that you called the match at Summerslam the first official TLC match also contradicts your comment entirely. Ironically the joke is in fact on you

I miss Survivor Series being about multi-man elimination tag matches. "Teams of five strive to survive" is the best format for it, shame Vinnie Mac hates tag wrestling
Survivor Series Deadly Game was a cool ppv championship tournament was a awesome idea that worked entertaining as well Halloween Havoc 99 should be next for retro ups and downs Simon your awesome great job as always
thank you Simon for giving some love to Ray Traylor! He never worked out saying that if he had to do so to stay in wrestling, then it was time to retire. I am pretty sure he was a true "Super Male" with a XYY chromosome loadout.
Simon please do Wrestlemania 21!! Cena & Batista becoming the new top guys/first ever MITB/Guerrero vs Mysterio in the opener or TLC 2009 where Sheamus won his first world championship! Also Christian vs Shelton Benjamin in an awesome ladder match for the ECW title
Still would like to see TNA Turning Point 2007 - mostly for THAT Samoa Joe unscripted shoot on Scott Hall, but it also has a pretty decent card, including; -Johnny Devine & The Dudleys v Jay Lethal & Motor City Machine Guns (Tables match) -Eric Young v James Storm -Gail Kim v Awesome Kong (Women's Knockout Championship) -Booker T & Frankie Kazarian v Christian Cage & Robert Roode -Samoa Joe, Kevin Nash & Eric Young* v Kurt Angle, AJ Styles & Tomko *Eric Young wrestled his 2nd match of the night, due to Scott Hall no-showing the event. I swear Simon just makes all these OG moments feel fresh again and dare I say better, with his chuckle to make light of stupid stuff or rips segments now we also look back on and go crap.....how was that cool at the time?!!
I think we´ve just become way too serious nowadays, especially with wrestling so if we go back and watch the attitude era it probably won´t age well, and also we´re older now. Attitude era was for teenagers and young adults
Yes Rock and Ken Shamrock had great chemistry. Should had a title match with them too. They had IC I know but the wwf. Also I agree big boss man very underrated guy. Always great. Another one to do the raw big boss man when he drove off with Paul Wright father in a casket. Lol
Actually the Rock winning the title almost didn't happen. The Rock said in an interview the Kliq tried to use their power backstage to stop it happening as they felt the Rock shouldn't be champion. Vince was going to listen to the Kliq. But luckily for the Rock he had someone who had more power backstage than the Kliq on his side. THE UNDERTAKER. The Undertaker thought the Rock would be a great champion and went to Vince and convinced him to ignore the Kliq and the Rock won the title.
@@harshckuk He needed a filter, or at least someone pushing back against him giving into his worst ideas. But he had everyone in the card doing something, a lesson current WWE needs to relearn.
It really was. Personally this thing was booked to perfection. But this is like a band having one classic awesome song, and the rest of their music is just garbage.
Wrestlemania X...(Macho Man vs. Crush, Bret vs. Owen, HBK vs. Razor Ramon ladder match IC Titles, Luger vs. Yoko / Yoko vs. Bret. Doink/Dink vs. Bam Bam/Luna And MORE!)
Bonus Up for the "Screwjob Moment" to act as the catalyst for the leadup to Foley winning the WWE Title a month later on RAW and of course Halftime Heat during the Broncos Falcons Super Bowl
I feel like if the Happy Corbin character doesn't last for long, they should give Baron Corbin the real man's man gimmick. It would get a rise out of people and similar to the Happy Corbin gimmick, Baron Corbin would be doing some good work.
If Kane needed to raise his legs up (to a nip up point) for leverage to get the undertaker off his shoulders, holding his leg/foot would prevent that (if it were real of course)
Yes Survivor Series 1998 is my all-time favorite Survivor series Pay-per-view of all time.
What a great way to start a bad day, Ups and Downs, Simon Miller, and just Whatculture in general always lift my mood
*"Of course you've got to prokect Tane..."* -Simon 2021 🤣😂
😆😆😆
what's more funny is that he corrected himself with that lolol
Simon: My word, somebody just kill me.
Haku breaking into Simon’s house: 👍

Fully Loaded 1999. Stone Cold vs The Undertaker in a First Blood Match
Im currently rewatching the attitude area. And this was the best ppv of 98 so far.
This is one of my favorite ppvs of all time. Lots of fun and the heel turn was brilliant.
This was the first WWF ppv i ever watched man this takes me back.

Summerslam 2000. First ever TLC. Plus Triple H and The Rock making a nearly whole match up as they went along.
Jokes on you. First TLC was at Wrestlemania 2000. Summerslam is the first official one but Wrestlemania 2000 was a TLC match for sure.

The Greatest Survivor Series of the Attitude Era, easily.

Summerslam 91? Bret Hart vs Perfect is still one of my favourite matches of all time, undoubtedly one of the greatest matches of all time
