I’ve watched this instructional as well as Gaia and for these heavy games, this channel easily has the best teaching videos available. Severely underrated instructional videos. Thank you so much for your huge effort and time spent on these videos. I completely trashed and humiliated my friends in Gaia project and have you all to thank.
Haven't played in a long while, and needed a brush up of the rules, plus a video to send my friends who hadn't played. I've watched 3 rule play throughs to be sure I understood everything and of the three I watched, this was by far the most clear and concise with nice close ups of the board and the turn order card, plus referencing the various rule changes due to player count, where other videos often glossed over that. I would definitely recommend this video to learn how to play.
Your videos are always done well. This game has a special place in my heart as it was the first "Euro" game I played. These videos are great as I use you how to plays to get people into new games.

Yaay thank you for this instructional video! Powergrid looks so complicated and the rulebook is wordy. Your video helped a lot :) Just wondering if you know the difference with the Recharged edition (2019) vs Complete New Edition (2009)? Since my Power Grid cover looks different to yours. Thanks~

Do you still have to remove the lowest number at the auction phase is step 3 when you're out of cards? Since that card cannot be replaced, it wouldn't make sense to me.
I believe you're talking about the rule from 8:13, where you remove the lowest power plant if no plant was bought during the auction. As far as I'm aware, that rule is still in effect in step 3. I've not seen anything in the rule book to suggest otherwise.

We just got the recharged edition for Christmas, the rules are slightly changed as well.
Best instruction video. What happens to any resources that are not used in the round, or left over on powerplant?
They remain where they are until the next round.

Hi. No, there is no longer a need to remove the low cards once reaching step 3.
