Music Mixing & Audio Mastering Passive Analog Transformer Saturation Box Unit

A lovely pair of audio transformers taken from a BBC monitoring system. These are very sweet sounding and saturate audio beautifully. They also add 3d-ness to audio run through them. In the video as soon as they are turned on the audio jumps by about 4db - this boost is all the passive transformers - there’s no other electronics or power supplies involved. Pure passive transformer kickass! With this particular track there were three sweet spots - one with the input to the transformers set at -4db - gentle saturation that just made all the mix elements sit pretty & added clarity to the low & low mids. 0db - a bit more glue in the low mids and more energy in the highs, & +3db where things were starting to crush but were all held in place - with more top energy. There’s a reason the mastering boys & girls like their transformer boxes. This pair also sound gorgeous on vocals, & will sit your guitars right where they should be with a bit of added sparkle.
