- Did you know that Black people were among the first people to set foot of the subcontinent of India. In this video we take a look a the Black people who are at the bottom of the caste system which has existed for hundreds of years in India called the Dalits. We also explore the people known as the Siddiq people, who descended from the mother land Africa.
Dalits ,Siddis are word that we never heard about these days. Indian racism is at a level similar to slavery days
Dalits have nothing to do with Siddis.
What are the similarities? The Caste system is horrible and the international community should demand an immediate end of this nonsensical institution. But, any one who compares this to slavery doesn't have a understanding of what slavery entailed; both past and present.

It is so old that Buddha and his monk committed the rebellious act of ignoring it and treated everybody equal 2,500 years ago.
There is a story of one first generation Buddhist monks asking a young woman for some water.
"I can not give you water" she said"Because I am an untouchable." Most Indians believed that taking water from an untouchable would pollute them.
But the monk said, "I didn't ask for your caste. I asked for some water." This was a radical act.
And when Dalits joined Buddhas community, they were treated the same as everybody else.
The Europeans/ Americans got their racists system from Hindustan cast system.

The original settlers of India were the Dravidians who came from the Kingdom of Kush in Meroe, Sudan thousands of years ago. They brought civilization to that part of the continent including a writing system. Sanskrit is closely related in sounds to the sounds of the Medu Neter and the Kushite Meroitic Script.
The original Indians were black. Likewise their gods who were all Africans. The name for the Creator or God in Sanskrit is "Sankara" a popular name among some West African countries. The most famous bearer of that name was Thomas Sankara, a former President of Burkina Faso.
"Krishna" is a Sanskrit word which means "black." But because of racism his color was altered to blue. Originally, black was the color of all the ancient gods of India before they were changed to blue. In ancient India, black was a color which was much venerated because it was the color of divinity. The original sculptures of Buddha depicted a man with thick lips, flared nostrils and Bantu Knots, a hairstyle which is only possible on a black person with kinky hair.
The Hindu cast system was started by the Aryans who were pale skinned or what many today would call white. The Aryans were violent and warlike and spread conquest and violence instead of civilization and learning like the Dravidians. They defeated the Dravidians after many centuries and took over the helm of affairs of that region. The Aryans stayed in the Northern part of India while the Dravidians were pushed down to the Southern part. That is why Indians from the South are darker in complexion than Indians from the North.

And in Himalayan and hilly region, Dalits are more similar to white American.They are actually very fair skinned and one thing I should clear that Dalits are relative term . I belong to a caste which is an so called upper caste in majority region while in some places we are categorized as Dalits. Dalits term don't even exist. So same caste in some region are categorized into Dalits while in others region they can be up per caste . Even among Dalits there are many caste and they have system of discrimination among them also.
