  • NOTE: This is for the remaining PulseAudio users. There are better ways to do this if you're on Pipewire. It just took me 3 years to get around to editing and uploading this video after filming.
    In this video, I describe how you can use the standard PulseAudio echo cancellation to improve sound quality when on calls, when either you (or the person on the other end) is in a noisy environment or struggles with echo issues.

    I try it to my updated ubuntu but I try it in my laptop the result is still noise from my external mixer device.

      Not just that, but integer upscaling to 4k since at the time I'd rather keep it sharp but blocky. At one point, I was using a 1080p BGR TV as a monitor, which has terrible ppi, so I was running bitmap fonts with smaller than normal font sizes. This shouldn't be an issue on videos I've filmed (not necessarily uploaded) starting in 2021.
