As to the Wikipedia dating, yes, there was a film by this title in 1896-- in fact, it's such a natural as a title that there's also 'Post No Bills' from 1906, 1914 and 1991. It's surprising there aren't more.
The big poster showing 'Gloria Snootful' in 'Her Thirsty Husband' is a pretty good goof on Gloria Swanson and her De Mille domestic pieces... Some good fun in this one, though one has to get past the main character being really STUPID! Many of the gags are very predictable, but then again many are very clever. Just wish it weren't being run at sound speed! This was not how these were shown when they were new. But I'm glad to find it showing here!
Excelsior This film was probably run at the speed you see it here in most theaters. I've done a lot of research and have even found to-the-trade publications from the early 1920s for a number of comedy shorts that indicate a running speed of 90 ft/min.
Paul Parrot était engagé dans les studios hall roach et il était le frère de Charlie chaque. Mais il ne fera pas la carrière de sont frère même qu' avec le parlant il sombrera progressivement à la dépression dans des films de plus en plus médiocres.
