Hi Thank you for sharing!! I was looking forward to replace my coolant but I didn't know how to remove my lower hose. I guess I'm going to try your method. It seems like my only solution for know. Thanks again!!! One question thou, does the lower hose assembly comes straight out when you wacked it or did you have to twisted? Thanks in advance for your prompt response.!!!
Than you for sharing this video. In the next few weeks I’m going to replace the front fascia that was damaged before I purchased my used 2019 Compass Trailhawk. Also I’m removing the front bumper. It looks like a few of the clips came undone causing a gap between to the bottom of the headlight and bumper to show. Do you know if it’s necessary to remove the wheels before taking off the fender liner? I noticed that’s what you did.
No you don’t have to if you have the right tools. I did because I had limited tools at my brother in laws house and needed the extra space to remove the bumper screws and also my niece was replacing her rims so they were coming off either way.
@@DD87336 Thank you for the reply. I’ll repost when I replace the facia and fix the bumper. Hopefully it’s the clips that have cases the bumper to pop out and not an unreported accident since the Jeep was lightly used before I bought it.
@@Velo1010 Hopefully . a lot of times they’re in accidents and don’t get straightened out perfectly so then the bumpers and fenders don’t lineup perfect. But then also these cars are made cheaper and crappy your every year and depending where you live I live in Michigan with horrible roads so enough potholes could make the bumper pop out
@@DD87336 Hind sight is 20/20. Before I owning this Trailhawk I had a 2012 Grand Cherokee that was in immaculate condition. I mean flawless. That is until a lady t-boned me blowing through a stop light. So I bought the Compass. A week later I realized the poor quality. I’m comparing this to my GC. I’m disappointed but I’ll keep it for a year then maybe sell it.
@@Velo1010 I had a older Audi A8 till last November when an idiot turned right infringe of me and totaled my car. yea the grand Cherokee are built better and are a lot nicer.
@@angelitoserdenia1210 the side flaps on the side of the radiators? I honestly don’t remember. Some cars u just squeeze and they slide out. Others might have a screw
Sorry I have no clue. It was my nieces car and I was helping her. I’m sure if u call a Jeep dealer and give them the year make and model they could give you the info on the horn
you are awesome!! i have a 2019 and the bottom portion was damaged and i did not want to remove the whole bumper. Thank you so much for this video!!!

I need to replace the lower bumper/valance on my wife’s 2020 Compass. Does the lower separate from the upper pretty easy?
Yes. it just clips in to it.
@@DD87336 great, thanks.
How did you remove the side flaps? I tried pinching it to pull it out but it just wouldn't pull out?

Sorry I can’t. It was my nieces car. Was just helping her fix it.
How do you reconnect the hoses? I’m having some extreme trouble with that
Sorry for the late response. I just pushed them back in. U can lube them alittle so they slide in easier
