- How to grow adenium from cuttings: In this tutorial I am going to show you that how to grow adenium from cuttings. You will soon find how to make a adenium bonsai. If you want to learn how to grow rose from stem cuttings , how to grow bougainvillea bonsai ,how to make a bonsai tree then you have come to correct place.
Adenium obesum is also known as the Desert Rose. In the Philippines, due to its resemblance to the related genus Plumeria, and the fact that it was introduced to the Philippines from Bangkok, Thailand, the plant is also called as Bangkok kalachuchi.[citation needed]
Due to its resemblance to a miniature Frangipani tree and its popularity in Bonsai, it is also sometimes known as Japanese Frangipani.
This plant has a flower boom in the month of October till December.
Thank you for this very good trilingual tutorial. You also showed the result.
I am 89 years old and have just got my tiny adenium.

Hi Ayanji..... Thanku so much for Hindi me samjane k liye.....👌🏻👍🏻
Thanks..
You are very thorough and a great inspiration. And your dog is beautiful! Thank you
Thank you for your instruction and the update of your work right after. I will use the net container next time I root my cutting adeniums. I've tried many times before with no success using the regular plastic containers, they all rotted and died.
Probably because of over watering. Water once per week. And let the cutting dry for one week before planting
Konsi soil me adeniyam cuttings laga sakte hai
the way to show all updates of your cutting is really nice that makes your video different to other

Love this video! I have had one for 3 years but it has only bloomed twice 😢
Repot your adenium in a large pot with lots of drainage hole. Use very well draining soil. Water once in week. Whenever you water mix very small amount of fertilizer. You can use my banana peel fertilizer recipe. Use very little amount of DAP (4-5 granules per week). And keep in full sun. You will definitely get lots of flowers
Bonsai Tricks And a Lot More thank you, I will definitely try this

Nice and informative video. Thanks
Very informative video on Adenium cuttings a new idea to tie all the cuttings together . This Sunday I cut four cuttings from my Adenium plant and after applying fungicide pdr.on both ends kept them in the shade for three days. Then I repotted them individually using sand and compleet equally and sprinkled a bit of fungicide and have kept the pots in the shade. Till now I haven't greater the pots. Please let me know when to water next. Had I gone through your said video earlier I too would have tried tying the cutting all together. Please make a reply
@@BonsaiTricksAndaLotMore_ayan Thanks for a prompt reply. Will follow the advice. I forgot to mention earlier about the main cut part of the adenium I mean the cardex. After removing the root rot fungus what is left is just 2 .5 inches radius. Now kindly guide me how to repot this. I need an urgent reply as already one weak has passed since I pruned it. You can phone me my no. 92843 13540. Just give me a miss call.please do so and oblige.I also wish to add that my age is 82 and gardening is my favorite . Thanks

Thank you so much. I am pleased to know that you liked my work
Excellent video! I need to do this with one of my adenium because it's gotten leggy. Question - when you say cinnamon powder, are you referring to the regular kitchen spice cinnamon or something different? Also, I wonder if this same process could be used with plumeria since they are of the same family as adenium. Thank you!
Yes, simple kitchen cinnamon. I have found that you you buy cinnamon and ground it at home it works better than store bought cinnamon powder.
Absolutely, the same process is applicable for plumeria as well.
Bonsai Tricks And a Lot More That’s good because I just had to do one of my plumeria last night!! Thanks for the reassurance 😀.
You are most welcome. Lots of love from India.

Wow amazing....👌👌👍👍

I had a adenium who had root rot. So I had to cut off all the rot area, saving part of the caudex. I left it dry for 7 days the cut area looked dry even thou the upper part didnt look as dry as yours in the video. It doesnt have leaves either. Can plant it already? I have a mix of sand and soil im not sure if its appropiate but i read its supposed to be left in shade for some weeks. Im not so sure if i should leave it in shade or in a sunny area.
Can u give an update, I m facing same situation
nice to learn. i want to know about the soil we should use for adenium
Use my bonsai soil recipe.

Great bonsai
Thanks Adela
Ok I'm wondering if when cutting the tops off, do I also add the white glue to the cutting ends before letting dry for several days?
No.. you don't have to apply glue on cutting. Let it dry naturally
Bonsai Tricks And a Lot More thank you 😚
Good information sir
Thank you so much
What time of year should you do this? Thank you, great videos from you!
February- March is the best for Indian climate. But in the other part of the world , best time is at the end of the winter and starting of spring. But you can do it almost any time of the year just make sure the weather isn't too humid
