I used to admire Shekhar Gupta a lot . He appeared to be balanced. But now somehow, he gives the impression that it is an art he cannot forgo, because that is his style. He cannot be direct like an Arnab Goswami. In this episode, he gives the impression that Pakistan should be given a chance. If they change, it is great. As an Indian, i cannot think it can change. A leopard cannot change it's spots. They are ruined economically. This is the time to crush them once and for all. Not by war, but by economic means. Let them beg. For 70 years they have bled us with 1000 cuts. It is pay back time. As an Indian, it gives me immense pleasure to see them in their knees considering what they have done to us. Kudos to Prime Minister Modi for giving them back in kind and in full measure.
Shekhar, can you do one episode on what exactly is Pakistan's claim to Kashmir. It certainly was not part of the division. Bothe nations' armies were headed by Brits at that point in time. 'Tribal invaders' came in with Pak army men disguised included. In Gilgit Baltistan the Brit General there took it on himself to 'deliver'. In our wisdom we waited for the Raja of Kashmir to formally 'accede' before 'requesting' the Indian Army to step in and the Prime Minister Nehru took it to UN - legitimizing the 'issue'. After China took parts of Ladakh in 1962, Pakistan gifted away large parts of Aksai Chin to China we cannot get it back. China still contests the rest of Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh and we are not able to assert our sovereignty over these areas authoritatively. One of my friends suggested Kashmir be given to Pakistan or allow self-determination [another Pandora's box] and Ladakh to Chin in return for peace. We will be reduced to a peninsula with hostile neighbors and a necklace strangulating us around our seas and Ocean. Naxals, SDPI, Dravida Nadu and the 'stateless' citizenry' are internal problems waiting to reduce us.
Judging my the overwhelming negative and skeptical comments on a show like Shaker Gupta’a where moderates reside and compounded by skepticism by Pak journalist Najam Sethi….. I say hold on. I being an ex-Pakistani, a minority and living in the West, propose something different. If indeed Pakistan is coming from a position of weakness then this is the best time to engage them. The diplomats have to be paid anyway

It is not just the financial problems, the US has practically abandoned Pakistan, the Islamic Ummah too is uninterested in its tantrums and the Chinese aren't proving to be gullible allies like the west. Chinese loans are very expensive and CPEC is bleeding Pakistan dry. All I can say is that we need not be pessimistic. We need to be PRAGMATIC.
@@sankalp6872 Pragmatic as well as patient and open to new possibilities or deviations from our past experiences.
@@spectrum_X Let's wait and watch :) I hope you are wrong but you can always say that you had already said so :)
ONly Shekhar Gupta would be someone from india who has actually read this doc. No one else does. He has a show to run.
First let’s finish them then I will read a few pages of fiction if I get the time.
Thanks,,I am waiting for your review,,,,
shekhar gupta ji why are you wasting time on covering this failed state they are only good enough to be laughed at
Your caption had me in splits 😂😂😂😂😂
Firstly , Respect from Pakistani American. You articulate things brilliantly. On this video , forced to write a comment ( Which I usually don’t) , your initial sentences to undermine and ridicule Pakistan in a manner mentioning Not here , others do it , is very disappointing. Please do see it from a non Hindutva or Global Indian prism. For a successful India , a successful region is a must. Please do talk about giving Tempe rights to Kashmiris as per the Indian promises and please focus on regional progress need. Again , respect and Love 💐
Even I felt like he was throwing some shades at the beginning which doesn't justify his journalism...idk why he did that (if you're a regular viewer then you'd know it's very unlike SG sir)
Also, he doesn't view anything from Hindutva lens.
@@jam-ss2jc Thank you 🙏.
@@Theactualstoic Thank you. Moodi is enough to bring that Indian house down.
Thank you for not thinking about Pakistan, please leave us alone and let the region progress. By the way your Army chief just said he wants to attack Pakistan now and oh yes, please tell your patriot news channels to stop doing shows on Pakistan every night since the people don’t care. Oh another thing, please do give Abhinandan our regards.
We Indians will want to have good relations once Pakistan starts taking steps towards becoming a secular democracy like India 🇮🇳
As you mentioned Abhinandan, please give regards to the PAF guy whom your army buried without mention after ISPR General accidentally indicated the "2nd pilot in custody"...
And i find you pakistani guys very cute when the most radicalised jihadist nation founded on the basis of Hindu hatred tries to tell India how to be inclusive and treat it's minorities...
Brilliant 🏆
Captivating Video.... 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Next episode of The Print should be titled "WHY THE HEAD OFFICE OF THE PRINT SHOULD SHIFT TO ISLAMABAD" followed by a sequel titled "WHY SHEKHAR GUPTA SHOULD BE ISLAMABAD BUREAU CHIEF ASSISTED BY JYOTI MALHOTRA".
While in ISLAMABAD they should do an episode "WHY BIN LADEN IS A MARTYR".
If you start seeing doves after reading this document, they will soon turn into vultures circling above your body.
Btw sir, over the past three days, your dressing sense has been awesome. I commented a few days back about it, I don't know if you paid heed to my comment but nonetheless, your dresses are amazing. One thing though, you can try some brighter colours :)
Great analysis👍
I love the humor SG. Never fail to make me grin at least one every video.
Hi shekhar..
Could you one episode on virat kohli journey in Indian cricket world. I guess people like me who don't follow cricket much don't know what great contribution he has done for Indian cricket. Kindly consider one episode on virat kohli..
