Nothing more embarrassing than forgetting to put the plug in. Happened to me more than once. The boat ain't cursed, just growing pains. You did an awesome job on it. Last summer I had the shaft completely separate from the motor head on my minn kota. I used a ratchet strap to clinch it back together, and was able to limp back. I will never go fishing again without a paddle.
James Harper man it was embarrassing! I appreciate the compliment on the boat. Yeah I thought I would have to break out the paddle the other day for sure but I stayed close enough to the ramp that I barely made it in.
Mark Buie I started with a top water popper but other than the perch I had no blow ups on it. The wind was almost non existent and the water had a visibility range of about 7-8 ft. With clear water and no wind the fish should push to the bottom or hang right in the thermocline area. That’s where I got my bites were on the bottom and in the mid water column on the swimbaits and lipless crank. Thanks for the question!
The mini looks like it is pretty easy for one person to launch......... as long as they remember to put in the plug!!!! LOL

Those are some decent sized bass. What made you decide to go with a worm that morning instead of a top water with as warm as it is?
