I don’t chase new equipment and had some really old wedges in my bag. Usually I’ll upgrade 1 at a time over time. I now have 3 of these in my bag. They’re perfect. Worth upgrading. Plus I’m a sucker for rusty wedges.
I love Cleveland wedges so much I've had these Tour Action 588's in my bag for over 20 years. A recent Iron upgrade has been stellar (Takomo 201's) and now it's probably time to do something with the wedges. Thanks Andrew!
Interesting about how you prefer a straighter leading edge. Wouldn't rounded edges at the heel and toe promote a better chance of the club not getting "stuck" in the turf?
@andrewjensengolf grooves still providing lots of stopping power. Quite impressed with that actually. This my 3 summer with them, 200+ rounds and still lots of spin and stop on them. Not much sand usage, I think that helps. I avoid beaches at all costs.
@@sumitagg1 correct, but for me, the look of the takomo leading edge is hard to overcome when compared to other wedges... that's why they aren't in my bag

That’s awesome to hear man!!
I love my RTX 6 wedges! Paired with the DG S400 = butter
🧈🧈🧈
Been playing Cleveland wedges for the past few years and they are great for me!
love to hear that!

Yes, but that’s more for the higher handicaps that need that help in certain situations and lies
Bingo!!
What is the mid and full grinds good for? Looking to get these but unsure if there is anywhere near me I can get fitted
I carry 2 rtx6 and 2 vokey's. Vokey is slightly better on full shots with my swing. Rtx6 has better consistency in dew or wet conditions.
I rocked Cleveland wedges for several years….can’t even remember why I went with something else.
Funny that goes sometimes eh?!
I haven't played Cleveland wedges since the Tour Action 588 days. Is a switch to dynamic gold shafts coming in the near future?
I could very well make the switch!
Love my RTX ziocores. They haven't done anything wrong so I can't justify upgrading to RTX6 just yet.
Just have to make sure your grooves are still fresh, that’s the main reason to replace wedges 👊🏼

Andrew, like to see you run these wedges up against the Mizuno T 24 or the S 23 wedges for your view point? Thanks...
Would love to do that!
I have Mizuno wedges stacked up in the garage, excellent but still the RTX is in the bag!
I realize basing anything on HC is difficult but would you say these would fit into a 11-15 HC player?
These or the CBX could suit you, I’d go try them both out & see what feels best
Totally agree!
Playing the x low bounce and SW with Nippon 120 wedge shafts!
Better then $400 anything i have ever played. DG’s are ok.
Cleveland make the best wedges. I play the CBX-2 52 and 58.
Low grinds have a sharper leading edge
How the hell are you getting 90 yards stock with a 60° at 3/4 swing?!?!
Takomo or these?
These
@@andrewjensengolf why? Your review of the takomo suggested they perform just as well
@@sumitagg1 correct, but for me, the look of the takomo leading edge is hard to overcome when compared to other wedges... that's why they aren't in my bag
So much better than Vokey, Callaway, or TM.
Back and sole badging don’t mean shit. These are some of the best wedges out there.
