Excellent video, Mike. One of your best that I've seen. Scam stories are the same all over the world... just started a new job and need money, granny is sick, brother needs helps... hundreds of them. My one hard and fast rule has been I will not send money at all until I meet them in person. And I make this very clear to any woman I am interested in. Also that I make no promises and no commitments until that time too, if I ever meet them. lol. As has been said here by others, if they are truly interested in you, they will not ask for money. I empathize with the situations some of them are in but I would be homeless and destitute myself if I sent money to all those who asked for money. The things we do for love...

I met a Filipino online we video chat for about 3 months and she never ask for money I fell in love with her so I went to the Philippines and met her I had no worries at all when I was their so I married her and I came back to the USA we still video chat everyday and she understands me very well about me needing my time . Uscis has approved everything but we are now sending paperwork to the NVC I hope everything gets approved soon
This is how not to get scammed
1. Don’t be Desperate
2. NEVER start communication until you’re Desperate ass in in the country
3. respect your money the money you worked your ass off all your life so that you can retire and enjoy life
4. even 20, 30 40 whatever bucks if you start sending money before meeting them, they know they have you. You are now what we call a sucker.
5. learn from all the guys from Dumaguete that got scammed they all show it on their videos smarten up. You’re the one in control. You’re the one with the money.
6. don’t be an idiot and have them move in with you within three months or even a year. Would you do that back home? Hell no
7. enjoy your retirement that’s what you worked your ass off your whole life for don’t make the women the focus of your retirement or else you’re gonna go miserable or insane.

Talking to a girl online is like being arrested. Anything you say can be used. She’ll ask “how are you”. Then of coarse you will ask her how she is and that’s when the asking begins. Also They’re also quick to fall for you! Re meeting at the airport: She’s locking you down from other Filipinas!

As an Australian that has been to the Philippines many times(30plus) over past 24 years i have seen and witness many expat being taken advantages of, probably me too to a certain extent in my younger years.
I did the 3 girl chat, monthly subscriptions.
Until i found what i believe the genuine one.
Yes i found her, i meet her and im very much inlove with her after spending time with her and her family lady Dec/ january.
I also got to soend some alone time with her, b4 we travelled to samar( my Australian good friends house) so they could get a feel amd see if she is what i feel.
I got the impression thst i did good, my friends wife, filpina, told me she was very impressed and likes my girlfriend.
Am i lucky, i dint think its luck, i believe its fate, we are on the same page, there is a monthly allowance and there has never been a situation that she need$ money.
Maybe i am lucky.

You have so many excellent videos Mike. This is at the top! If men listen, this can save their lives. Instead of wasting years of their lives trying to figure out if they are scammed, for me, I say if things don’t add up end it fast. I have seen so many in a state of confusion trying to figure out if they are being scammed and slowly they normalize the scamming and comply, acquiesce. Great message Mike

Mike, everything you said in the vid is true. spot on. you might be surprised that most of us lonely old dudes in the states know this. however, sending a couple hundred bucks a month to a Filipina is a drop in the bucket compared to having a girlfriend here in the states. you know that. i know that. an American girl can cost $200 in one damn night out. dinner, drinks, movie and something she needs to buy at the mall. i consider the Filipino money thing "entertainment budget." its fun and actually quite cheap... in comparison. we all understand the game. and it is a fun game. Filipinas are a blast to play with. they deserve some money for their time and effort. the quicker the foriegn dude understands the game, the better everyone will be😁

just be upfront and smart with your money. you should never send a penny to a person you have never met face to face. you meet a young woman out of your league, tell her you are not looking for commitment (or money obligations) at the moment. You can still date her, and others - until you are ready for commitment. if youre honest and upfront about it, she wont hold it against you, but rather try even harder

You must first know what you want in a relationship,& needs,then what do i base the relationship on..trustworthiness,kind,truthfull,& so on my suggestion would be spend quality time alone with yourself,know you.Most arent willing to do this.I say this because their all important in relationships..Also look for compatability,young women are okay ,short term if your an older gent.Just play it smart

LOL And online is a mine field, been chatting a girl 7 months now never asked for money and she even sent me a gift through Amazon so go figure but I wont know a real thing about her until we meet. good food for thought. Luckily, being 74 and single for the last 15 years, I'm moving to Cebu in February and not looking for any female partner. I just want to live my remaining life in a nice, peaceful, loving country that I can enjoy. since there are lots of younger foreigners there, I should be safe from the so called lonely girls looking for an atm. however, I'll still keep my radar active just to be safe. I'm easy to talk to people, so I'll enjoy living in a country of friendly people. It's just too expensive here in texas anymore, and living with my son and family is awesome, but I just need my space. since they also want to move to the philippines in 5 yrs or so, I decided moving there now wouldn't be a shock to them that I wanted my own space now. I'll budget 1500 USD per month which includes savings, medical insurance, and entertainment.

Mike, I do not have any plans to talk to anyone before I arrive in the Philippines. I do not believe in long distance relationships, unless you know them before hand.
I met a girl online and dis similar as well Mike....but I told her in the beginning because I was in the Phillipines back in the 70's attached to the Navy and out ship came into Subic Bay Olongapo...magsaysay drive was not even paved then...lol. Marcos was in power and the country was under martial law. Anyways, I told her regardless if things worked out or not I would leave her in a better place then I found her. I kept my word. So, I can relate.

We all been through the scams. I was sending money to a beautiful girl from Ghana ,only to find out wasn't a girl at all and the pictures I got from this person was all over a scam site. He/she Scammed hundreds of other men and used hundreds of different names! 😅I can laugh about it now,but it wasn't funny at the time!

This Filipina was good just not good for me. She got mad at me because i told her to stop using filters, especially since we had been doing video chats and I knew what she looked like, i said i accept the real you but you don't, so since you don't thats a problem. I told her shes acting like other women she got pissed, I said you'll get over it. Its sad she was stuck in fake looks. I told her what if i said i had a lot of money and come to find out when we come together get married and you have to work every day because i dont have any money. Boy she went nuts. Oh well next.
