My review after a poor experience with customer service: I was immediately disappointed to see that these expensive 'Italian' boots are not even made in Europe like the previous model. They're made in India. The quality issue then became immediately evident as they ripped just trying them on. I contacted Alpinestars and they want me to pay for the shipping so that they can repair the boots which will take around a month in total. You're supposed to get what you pay for when you buy an expensive product from a premium brand but I've learned the hard way that Alpinestars is nothing more than a name. They're not premium either in their quality of product or quality of care. I wouldn't recommend either the product or the company.
Overpriced. These look a lot like the Speed and Strength Overhaul boot. I bought them for about $165. The price on this for basically the same boot is a price gouge. My first pair has lasted me 3 years. I like them so much I bought a second pair when I found them as like all good things, they will stop making them sooner than later.
These are full grain leather with traditional stitching. These will last forever if you take care of them. Look at any non-motorcycle boot made the same way. You’re going to be spending $200+ just because of leather and construction.

Nice boots, seem a little pricey but never had any quality issues with A-Stars. If they came in black I'd have a pair on order.

You can ride in the rain with these just fine. But it's very much constructed like a normal leather working boot. Not made for hiking or ADV Touring.
