An absolutely outstanding production. You're not just a narrator, you've created something resembling a radio play here.
    Brilliant accents and character portrayal!!!
Thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed this!!!!

Thanks so much for the short story. You did an awesome job.
I disagree however that there is no real risk of ending up on a dinner plate.

Believe it or not, this is one of the few cautionary short stories about humanity that I knew about. My dad told me the short version of it when I was 12 about eight years ago. Thank you so much for reading this Mr. French! I plan on sending a link to this video to all my book loving friends. ( :

@@FrenchEdward06. Another one he told me was a short story by Roald Dahl called “The Landlady“. I have a feeling that you would do an amazing audio performance of that.

This story was really good, but it really made me appreciate Rod Serling that much more. I truly believe he was an exceptional fiction writer. I actually preferred Rod's adaptation more than this one. Not to say this one was bad at all, but it just seems that Rod's version was more thought out.
The Kanamites being a lot bigger and stronger than us rather than being short little pigs. The dialogue between the main character and his female friend. Plus the delivery of the final part/the twist. The main character doesn't find that part out until he is being escorted on the ship and cannot leave.
"It's a cook book" and then he is struck down and carried on the ship. It ends with the main character being held as a prisoner and he hates eating cause he knows his end will be soon. The Kanamite laughs and tells him that he has to eat up so that he won't get skinny and lose any weight. So the ending hit you harder than the novel did as a result.

However in the TZ the Kenamit were 7ft tall, bald with a large cranium, and robe wearing.

How timely! The Ukraine mentioned...thank you! Comedic, farce, satire is often the best way to persuade or at least inform apathetic masses elsewhere. And very entertaining too, Mr. French. Let's hope. Namaste

I'm glad you could enjoy this without the ending being spoiled for you. . Apparently you haven't seen the famous Twilight Zone episode of the same name. It was excellently adapted for TV by Rod Serling. I hope you will look for it. Thanks! E.E.F.

I think the aliens being more pig like compared to the twilight zone episode, makes it even more terrifying.

The Canamids description is pretty telling.
Some animals are indeed more equal than others... 😉
12:00 ah, but they gave humanity infinite power boxes that could power solid state lasers, particle accelerators and magnetically propelled projectiles.
I am liking the addition of you adding your face to the narrations, as well as the method (wearing the black shirt it appears your head is floating in the void).

    • @FrenchEdward06

Thanks, Monroeville. The title is also pretty telling and the ending is known by just about everyone after 70 years in print, but it doesn't minimize the impact in the least. E.E.F.

"cultural cabbage soup!" ROTFL ~~ 🇷🇺 ~ I looove the expression on your face at the end of this story - it's priceless. and, OMG i love your copywright notice. i think you covered it all, Ed , :} including logos on mugs (ceramic and acrylic)! telepathic was the best one though! LOL
as to what you say - can't disagree at all. Almost 74 million "beings" voted for the evil idiot in our White House!!! Amurica is no longer the America of song - "America the Beautiful" is it? and will it ever be again? (t-Rump is doing everything it can to make very hard for Biden - he is such a horrible human - just horrible.) it's certainly going to be the century of China, not America any longer. due horrendous leadership, (by the repubs for a long time), we've lost the lead, i think. . . 🕊🇺🇸
