New restaurant in downtown Detroit bringing comfort food, great views to the city

A new restaurant is coming to the heart of downtown Detroit, and the signage is up on the Little Caesars HQ along Woodward Ave. For the owners of Union Assembly, the design goal of their new Detroit restaurant is to make the 7,200-square-foot space feel as welcoming and comfortable as their other popular establishments.

Cool spot. I went there to get a seat for 4 on Friday before Tigers game. 50 min wait. I slipped a $20 and no wait.😉

Hope this restaurant is just as successful as all the rest for him. Awesome that it is in Detroit. Absolutely love the location and the open atmosphere to the city/street. There needs to be even more of this downtown. The city has make some nice improvements, lets keep it going.

It's good to see downtown Detroit not just coming back, but expanding, and with more cultural diversity. It's going to take a lot longer for the neighborhoods to improve, what with over 135 square miles of them.

I hope they run this better than
Vinsetta's Garage. One of their employees a few years ago ripped them off for $100,000 or more. It was all over the news. Union Assembly LOL. Part of Detroits comeback. LOL. Downtown Detroit is so dangerous( esp after dark) you have to worry about getting hit in the head with a liquor bottle or robbed. I give that restaraunt 1 year ,then it will be called "Strikebreakers disassembled"

Stop Hating, downtown and Midtown are the safest parts of Detroit....I mean if you want to get hit in the head with a liquor bottle come to Chiraq/Chicago where it's Horrible in the daytime and as you call ""after dark"" Hell ppl complain about the same ongoing problem in damn near evert city Detroit, Philadelphia, New York, New Orleans, and here in Chicago🙄
