Watching old school cod makes me realise how not every gun was a laser beam & they were actually situational, not like now where you can add 5 attachments to just make every gun have no recoil, the flinch in the old cods as well was crazy, miss the old perks as well, getting pro perks actually added to the game, man Warzone really ruined how fun MP cod used to be.

@bigsohc I was talking about bolt action, but in general, as50 was my favorite. The only problem was the default scope was ass, so you had to get variable Zoom to see people at long range.
19:08 if i recall, scavenger doesnt work on noob tubes unless the enemy player was also carrying a noob tube. did it for the sake of balance, but the noob tube was extremely nerfed and explosives were largely useless. i miss this game.
BO1,MW2 and MW3 are the best ones for me but I have to say playing with my friends on here back in the day doing massive infected custom lobbies to getting out the map with the AA12 and the progression and the way this game was made with 80 levels each prestige with the tokens and the unique emblems and calling cards and with the clans you could make which made you feel rewarded this was the best cod game man I miss this game too much, hope BO6 MP can come close to this masterpiece

the fact that camping is the one bad thing you could single out about BO1 which is pretty much an annoying thing to deal with in any other CoD shows how clean BO1 was, no Riot shield, no explosives abusement, no LMG with broken sights/scopes, just pure gunfights
In my experience I truly can’t remember campers were annoying me in bo1 (I played on ps3). But I still wake up in the middle of the night with a cold sweat having vietnam flashbacks from mw2 noobtoobs and snipers.

I was the first 20th prestige on XBL back in the day... I did it in 15 days too after finals in high school... 1st 100k kills 20th prestige. Crazy nostalgia definitely one of my top 3 CODs
I fucking loved this game. played it like every day after school. the numbers popping up on the screen followed by the guitar riff just hits it for me. and the gunplay was so fun. played a lot of mw2 before and this game just felt like the follow up to it should feel.
OG MW3 was the last of the OG’s I played, kinda lost its way (in my opinion) from here on out and I stopped gaming until last year when I bought myself a series X with MW3 bundle. I still got hella love for the 2007-2012 era of COD. These games were like a right of passage for our generation. I’m looking forward to BO6 and holding hope (albeit minimal) in my heart for it to take us back to the glory days. Thanks for doing this little series I’ve loved it, earned my subby 😊
I watched your BO1 videos too, these older cods have so much magic in them. The state that gaming is in today with hyper-consumption as the main goal is so sad to see. These older games played much better too.
I miss this game a lot. For a long time it was the most purchased call of duty due to the hype of MW2. It never lived up to its predecessor although it as a really fun game.
I'd say a few things. Firstly this was the best in the series imo. Those sniper shots were pretty great. Secondly I can't wait for Bo2, I just hope there aren't too many hackers. Third, not a fan of the more passive gameplay with the m16 etc but I get everyone plays different. Lastly, your commentary and the way you cut your clips makes for an enjoyable watch, good work!
