I'm really happy for you. I love how excited you get when you're teaching all of us "Armchair Farmer's " about different machines for different jobs and the animals and their health . Enjoy! Have a great day
Never seen one of those before. It’s sort of a cross between and Massey front grill, Claas top cab and a Fendt colour scheme 🤔. Be very interesting to learn more about, perfect horse power for your flat farm Tom. 👍
I have learned so much about farming from your videos. Wow... I'm in awe! -JoLori from West Virginia, US
Lovely looking tractor. I really like Hurlimanns new colour scheme. You'll have plenty of pull with a SDF. We've been hard pressed to buy anything else but a SDF. We run a fleet of Same's along with a couple of David Brown's. Our oldest Same a 1981 Buffalo 130 has 21,000 hours on her, and she's still running.
I am Happy As.. Its a Duetz-Fahr with a Different Name on it.. Congrates !! Well done !! Its an SDF tractor.. If it was white.. It would be a Lamborghini ! The Duetz -Fahr Dash is one of the best in looking.. those dials are clear to read.. Your Old Hurlimann.. was a Silver Duetz-Fahr Agrotron..
New subscriber, I found your channel while watching the hoof doc, I am fixed on here now, as an OAP now, I used to be a dairy maid in Cheshire, so your channel is a wonderful flash back to those lovely times. I so wish I was still on a farm. Best wishes from Cornwall.
I know you mentioned trading the old hurlimann in for whatever new tractor you go for and I know its all down to money but wouldnt it be better to trade in the case loader tractor and stick a loader on the hurlimann? then you would be upgrading two tractors in the fleet rather than one?
Looks a nice tractor I did think it was a little fendt to start with but I can see the Deutz in the front grill! Would definitely benefit you more with a front PTO I’d say but it’s definitely an upgrade! Looking forward to seeing what she can do!
That is a very nice looking Tractor indeed. be interesting to see how it handles your slurry tanker and the 3 legged sub soiler. Looking forward to the working vids of it. keep up the great work, your farm is starting to look smart indeed.
amazing how times have changed, when i was working with my dad we farmed 360 acres of arable and our biggest tractor was a 3350 at about 100 hp. below that we had 2040s a ford 5000 and a renault at about 90hp loading tracter. everything these days is absolutly massive! looking forwards to seeing how the hurlyman does
Had a nose at a XB105 at farm the other day and looked a really compact complete little tractor. Well built well thought out. As for the draw bar isn’t it where you took it off last normally
Remember thinking when you had a previous demo that Hurlimann were missing a trick not getting you a demo machine. It looks great. not to large. Maybe just what you need.
Don’t take this in any bad way but that is the most Tonia toy looking tractor I have seen in year. All the others look like some spacecraft and this one looks like a nice simple to maintain and fix tractor. I have noticed on Olay’s channel how often he is at least one tractor down.

Definitely a nice looking tractor tom. Front linkage and a pto. So you can get a front mounted mower as well. With the back mower on ypu would cover more ground in no time. 👌💪
Hi tom , I hope your dad had a good time at Goodwood revival. My uncle had a car there what he use to own GT40 genuine reproduction reg number MKV 40. He was also a ex team member of the team who raced the GT40 when they won in the 1965 / 1967 I do believe. The car is owned by The team owner son now ( Alann mann racing). My uncle went to the Goodwood to see the car. I hope you get on well with the demo on the tractor.
glad for you. Dont know the brand as I am from South Africa. Looks brilliant but the noise on video is a bit load. going to make me put the sound down a lot
loving the new tractor I'm wondering if you should consider more hp to future proof it as implements are demanding more hp as time goes on and might have a better resale value I know fuel consumption may be compromised
Looks like a decent tractor, I thought it was a Fendt when it was in the distance and the red rims, sort of looks like one too. It would be even more efficient without the Adblue.
One thing I'll say is when tractor shopping test any and every tractor you can get your hands on, become colour blind the best tractor for you might not be a hurlimann or case there's loads of other manufacturers out there give them all a chance and see what comes out on top. You'll probably surprise yourself
Tom the new video is great you might remember my son jack said hi to you he watch’s his videos and he has seen the latest one you have posted about the new tractor
Interesting decision to be made. We only have deeres where i work but i must say was pretty impressed by all the Case's when you demod them. Lets see what this can do
Think! farm saftey. Never step over a PTO. We had a man a county over step over a PTO while it was active and he slipped in the 1980s. Took his overalls bottoms, his pants/underware, and a big chunk of very sensitive skin. He needed reconstructive surgery to put bits under skin again, and he was lucky to have bits.
How close the dealership is very important in the long term i think. I"ve got two masseys here in south devon and since mst have gone bust we have to drive to the next county [cornwall] to get parts and filters etc, it"s a 2 1/2 hour round trip by car........ not what you need when your busy
She's very smart from what you've shown so far and we know Deutz engines are good. What ever you go for I hope you keep the old Hurliman as a loader tractor.
Tom in a previous episode you mentioned that the Lord "jumped" a fence to get to the cows. So despite his size he is athletic enough to do that. Amazed.
What a beauty! You won't be disappointed with it and I hope it leads to an order. Same Deutz Fahr are quality machines but you already know this. Same were one of the first companies to make 4 wd tractors if my memory serves me correctly?
You already got one mine as well add another one I run red orange and blue we have had massey but I don't care for the new ones. We had a 255 and that was almost as good as the 135
I’d never heard of, let alone seen a hurlyman before watching your videos. Where I live every one seems to have Massy’s, New Holland’s or John Deere’s. I can count the number of Case’s I’ve seen on one hand and a couple of months ago I saw my first Valtra. My dad used to be like a squirrel with nuts, with old tractors. If any of his friends had space on their farms you could guarantee it would have one of my dad’s tractors in it. I remember when I a teenager we had a beautiful little red Porsche in front of our house, I think that was the first time I found out they made tractors
Nice looking tractor Tom, no doubt you and your dad will have issues about it but it’s great you and your dad can always sort them out between you both, love watching your channel Tom, and if you ever need any help with sound recording I know someone who is quite good at it, her name is Joanna May Pemberton lol, 👍👍.
I thought a Class when on the trailer arriving in the yard........then once your closer you can see it's a Hurlimann big brother to your little Hurlimann
SDF should leave you the new version of tractor you have presently, be interesting to see what 15 years of development has produced. I really like the look and new cab on them 5000 and 6000 deutz tractors
argh. i need a "how to speak tractor" class. i have no idea what most of that meant, but it looks good. always nice to see the new toys even if you can't keep them yet
Awesome to see that you and your dad are able to demo this tractor. As you mentioned and out of my own experience the cab of these series (I'm familiar with the Deutz version) are quite small. Surely, you'll have a chance to have a look at one with the larger cab (6145.4 for example). At work we have a Deutz 6165.4, great tractor. However, comparing to other brands the SDF cabs are not the most spacious.
Price , Service , back up . If it works for you and your Farm, fair play . Case and more mainstream Manufacturers will be more polished with a price to reflect. I’m a Deere man myself . However I can see this or the Case a good fit for your situation. Keep up the great videos and work 👍
Always lovely to see a new bit of kit on the farm! I am curious to hear the reasoning for why other brands such as Fendt, JD, etc. aren’t considerations? I would suspect there should be a number of options in the horsepower sweet spot and I know in the US, dealer support is a huge factor.

nice looking tractor tom, i think hurliman should offer you a cracking deal, your silver one is as famous as clarksons lambo and i bet most people had never heard of hurliman before your channel

Hello from the Netherlands . the audio is still NOT quite right Tom . maybe check everything with the audio maybe a bad plug connection or a broken wire? thanks for the video. Sincerely, Hollandduck
11:55 yeah 2years ago i worked att a tree sapling plantation and pretty much the only job the 2 brand new JD tractors had was to go 20-80meters/hour and run the tool that shakes and pulls the saplings out of the ground so the women could then collect it in packs of 25 or 50 based on the order and then it was the mens job to collecte the saplings load them on trailer and bring them home to the yard. crawl gears are also good for when you are behind and have tons of saplings to collect. you just throw it in gear jump out and start loading while the traktor goes down the field.
Nice looking piece of kit Tom, looks amazing and sounds amazing but as the old saying goes. Looks are not everything. It can talk the talk but can it walk the walk? I've absolutely no doubt you and the Ginger Hero will test it to within an inch of its life (Top Gun for Tractors, you have to push the limits to know what it can do!) . And considering the cost I would as well, always try before you buy.😉👍
LOLOL, I'm so sorry, but as the guy backed it off the trailer, I thought, "It looks just like a Monster Truck!" I don't know if you have them in the UK, but here in the USA, they are a thing. HUGE HUGE HUGE tires, and pickup bodies 12 feet off the ground - it's crazy ;-) But it's beautiful!

Nice tractor, deutz, same and hurlimann and lambourghini are basically all the same tractor. I had a Same for years great tractor. Well finished tractors with a good spec for a decent price.
always check your audio before you start. at least whenever your doing a big interview like that. figure out a way to plug headphones in to your camera easily so you can listen to what its recording. you could run it up your sleeve and wear a ifb in your ear. no one would ever see it. also. i remember a video or 2 ago you getting your mic wet and saying that you would have issues in a couple days. lol
What a machine I can't wait to see what you get up to with it :D and what your opinion is after it all between case and this, have a good one Tom great video

always check your audio before you start. at least whenever your doing a big interview like that. figure out a way to plug headphones in to your camera easily so you can listen to what its recording. you could run it up your sleeve and wear a ifb in your ear. no one would ever see it. also. i remember a video or 2 ago you getting your mic wet and saying that you would have issues in a couple days. lol
What a machine I can't wait to see what you get up to with it :D and what your opinion is after it all between case and this, have a good one Tom great video
Best of luck with it Tom. Well ware. 👍
Good looking 4 cilinder tractor! Did you thing about the Valtra N-Serie too? It's also a nice 4 cilinder tractor, just because i'm thinking about that one for our farm. Please give your thougts about this tractor.
Condolences for your Queen. Most Americans will remember her fondly. The new King not so much.
Tunstall tractors! What a place. Just 400m up the road from me. Great video
I didn't know hurliman had gone back to green. Looks really good
Wow, I never realized there would be like tractor/machine demo periods. It makes a lot of sense but I just never thought of it before 😅
Great video Tom, my TP merchandise came today - well pleased.
