My OOTP experience is limited but I find that later into a sim you start to get more of those insane talent jumps. I have a VERY late Rangers sim (2059) that had a player go from a 40/55 to an 80/80 with a 170 WRC+ in the majors in a year and another go from an A-baller with a negative WPA to a 200 WRC+ major leaguer in two years. Though nothing will ever top me trading Simeon Woods-Richardson as a like 40/45 pitching prospect who had like a 115 ERA+ in AA only to see him immediately skip AAA, win the Cy Young, and then win the next THREE Cy-Youngs, all unanimously.
The only stud I see here is the manager 👀
