This was good, but for it to be like Between Two Ferns, you have to go more of a roasting route. Between Two Ferns always had an absolutely invasive and shocking question or remark into a topic the interviewee typically does not address nor would you think they would address in an interview. For example, the Hilary Clinton one had the "Where's the best place to contact you, by email?" line. You want the audience to come away thinking "how the hell did the interviewee's team allow this to be brought up, even though it's only meant to be comedic and light hearted?" However, the not letting Maya touch the dog and the soda can bits were a good and BTF-esque, and the monotone tones, especially from Miz, were a great attempt at replicating Zach Galafanakis's (however you spell it) deadpan humor. I could see this coming there, but for these to land, they really need to have that one zinger that makes people cover their mouths in shock
