Oh no you killed the Black Lion!
The philidor with Nd7 is one of the most annoying openings against e4 in my opinion. So I'm definitely going to try this! After all your lines against the French, Caro and Pirc are still my favourite opening lines. This is the best channel for aggressive but sound opening lines.
💪💪
Thanks Mio. I intend to use this. 👍
Brilliant stuff, Mio!! Thanks so much.
what a nice video. Im impressed
Here again! 😃 What a nice lecture, Mio! Thanks! Everytime someone trying to save Phillidor's Defense, too late 🤣 My best regards 🇧🇷
Victor!! Welcome back my dear friend ❤️
top analysis!
I like how YT translated Philidor to failure
thanks for this video
5:14 Yes, that Qe8-Qg6 idea is annoying for white in this opening. I've lost a game with 1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 e5 4.Nf3 Nbd7 5.Bc4 Be7 6.Bxf7+? Kxf7 7.Ng5 Kg8 8.Ne6 Qe8 9.Nxc7 Qg6 10.Nxa8 Qxg7. The position is better for black. Putting the rook on g1 prevents that counterplay and the sacrifice could work.
Another reason to go for my suggestion! 🤫
I guess this also works against black 🦁 because of kingside tempo for white??and same initial move order but this time u play rk G1 instead of A4 right?
I usually play the Shirov 5.g4 but I seriously take a look at Rg1!!
That’s why you have me 😉
thx Mio
Thanks buddy 👍
i like to sac with g4 immediately or play rg1 in the line with c4
🙏🙏🙏
After 5g1, why wouldn't BLK immediately start planning long castle? Also, after ...Nc5, BLK can play ...Ne3 to trade off knights, or instead of ...Nc5, he might play ...Ne5 so the Knight can be deployed quickly for kingside defense. Playing Rg1 before BLK has castled loses a tempo, tips off BLK early as to WHT's strategy, and weakens the WHT h-file pawn. I can imagine there might be lines where BLK, after diverting the WHT knight from f3, could play an early ...Ng4 followed by ...Qh4 with threats against both f2 (where a knight sacrifice might be playable) and the undefended h2. Of course, I am sure there are some opponents who will just castle into WHT's prepared attack even though they see what is coming, but what if you play someone with common sense?
I don’t know if top World GMs are not someone “with common sense” 🤔
Dont they nowadays play the endgame for an advantage? Imo and the opinion of SF 15 Bc4 Be6 Bxe6 dxe6 f3 Bd6 Nh3 (bringing the Knight to d3, W only has good pieces, with moves like Be3, a4, Nb1-d2-c4, c3 easy Plan for all pieces) is just dreadful for Black (solid +1). Critical is Ke8 f4 (Nf3 is also playable) when there are a few sharp lines after Bb4 Bd3, feel free to investigate.
@@BeFourCM Yeah was just mentioning it because mio said that it was nothing for White which is not true imho
Is this good enough for first Serbian league answer fast please
Yeeeees! 😂😂
