Got this today on sale as the MSI I bought failed out of the box sadly. This was the next in line and I saved $240. So far so good, I immediately noticed the sound difference on my speakers that are plugged into the monitor. They sound so good from this monitor compared to my Asus vga27a so that I'm really impressed with. My screen seems decent on uniformity and I don't have any dead pixels etc. Still kind of disappointed when you think you could get an oled for a bit more if you can fit one which I can't nor do I want to babysit a monitor. The 32" field for 4k is so lacking, the MSI at least had HDR 600 and best colors but $1150 on sale is insane. 32" seems like worst value, you can't get a Qled/Oled 43" that has 4k 120 Hz for less then $1600 Canadian so I'm tempted to return it and wait for the new monitors that should be dropping as all these are a year old...
Hello brother can you help?I got this monitor 2 months before in february.I had M28U as well but that seemed small thats why i bought this.When i connect my HDMI cable to this M32U and play game.Then switch off the pc and restart it shows only HDMI no signal.I have to open HDMI cable from one port and connect it to a different port of GPU then it shows its display.Whats wrong with the monitor?
@@robbythepoorgamer4356 hey, I actually ended up taking the monitor back. For the issue you're having I do believe that was an issue I read that the Gigabyte monitor's can have. I'd look on Reddit to see if there's a thread on it, outside of switching cables which I assume is pointless I'm not sure.
Been using the M32U for a while but thinking of downgrading to the 28" Odyssey G70A. The gigabyte OSD and shortcuts are so much better tho Never tried the speakers so surprised to hear your opinion on them
I’ve done a lot of research and many claimed that Gigabyte has higher chance ship you with dead pixels. Seems like their panels are done by 3rd party. Means their QC is kinda bad. I almost purchase m28u and bold back and got myself an LG 27GP850. Losing 4k and 2.1 but I guess it’s okay since I’m using it for streaming with capture card elgato HD60s and it doesn’t have 2.1 passthrough and recording.
How is your performance with Destiny 2 on 4K. If you can share some feedback how does it at work for you? I want to get this for work, Destiny 2 and dota 2. It would be really helpful. Thanks.
When I start my Playstation, there is sporadically no picture. .Even if I select HDMI1, nothing happens at first. It only helps when I switch to HDMI2 and back to HDMI1. Is anyone having the same problem?

I want to upgrade from 1080p, what would be a better move, go to 1440p or to 4k? I have the GPU horse power, but how long can it keep up with the demand for future titles, I wouldn't know (and dont want to upgrade GPU for a while), its a rx 6800xt btw. I am looking at this, but also another monitor that offers HDR 600 but is 1440p and got QLED (Odyssey G7 LC27G75TQSNXZA). You mention the jump from 1080p to 1440p was more noticeable than 1440p to 4k; would you say to just stick with 1440p for now and go with the Odyssey, it is admittedly a good monitor
I would go 1440p. You’ll notice a huge upgrade from 1080p to 1440p. 1440p to 4K is noticeable but doesn’t feel as big of a leap as 1080p to 1440p. The trade off of fps for 4K isn’t worth it right now and it’ll only get worse if you don’t plan to upgrade your gpu to the next generations coming up.
@@1UpNerdcore what about for consoles preferably series X, should I go with something more cheaper like a 1440p hdr monitor or stick with the one in this video
@@woodenxyz8688 you can stick with this one and play plenty of games that don’t require 120fps in 4K then just switch to 1440 for any fps shooters… but let me know what you went with if you’ve gotten one yet!

I currently have a 27” HP QHD 27XQ and thinking of either this or the new LG32 UG950 but I don’t think the LG is worth the uplift. I want it for gaming (mainly RTS) and future proofing. I also do photo editing with Lightroom. Can anyone tell me if this is better? Current set up is RTX2060 although changing to a 3080/90 next year
Some people (including a friend of mine) have returned so many from various vendors that it's well into double digits (16 returns for one guy LOL). Not worth it. Gigabyte are known to have the worst quality control on earth - with nigh guaranteed dead pixels. It's effectively as reliably 'bad' as the Alienware having that Bubblewrap staining issue. I'd avoid if I were you.
It cost 750 - 800 EUROS !!! This monitor makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. Add just a bit and u can get O L E D. Which BLOWS THIS PIECE OF TRASH out of the water. Idk how much they pay him to say this about this monitor... but its nonsense.
Size is a big factor imo 48 inches is just far too large for a comfortable desk gaming experience. I had the 48 for a year and paid significantly more to replace it with a 32 inch so for what it's worth there's more then picture quality to factor in. Being comfortable is most important to me
It looks like a great monitor, I went with the MSI Optix MPG321UR-QD instead, It was around $900 for the MSI so definitely costs a bit more but I think it's worth it.
@@kamionka888 It is really bright when I use it at night, That's the only downside of the monitor for me. It does cause some eye strain, So I probably wouldn't recommend it if you like to use your monitors at night or in a dark room.

@@kamionka888 I was going to stick with the Samsung monitor, but after trying 4k on a 32 inch screen it’s really hard to go back to anything smaller. I think I’m just going to stick to 32 inches from now on. The Samsung monitor is still really good and goes on sale all of the time. I was going to get the Gigabyte M32U but since it only has 24gbps Bandwidth of HDMI 2.1 I decided not to get it. I only game on Consoles so for me that was a deal breaker.

Destiny 2 runs 70-90 fps consistently with my 3080 at 4K. I play it a lot and I think it runs great 👍🏻

Am I the only one that has a yellowish screen with this monitor, the whites are kinda yellow idk what to do
Have you tried adjusting the color presets? If those didn’t help try adjusting the colors in the panel. Adjust the red and greens.

28 inch is 8 bit 32 inch is 10 bit
