Thanks to this excellent video, next time my wife and I are out with our MiniCat 420 we'll be using several better ways of disassembling and packing! We've been sailing it for two and a half years now and still finding better ways to do things.

Approximately how much does each bag weigh? Any tips if you are launching and recovering off a beach or you should wash everything down once you get home I guess?

The bags weigh roughly 60-70 pounds each (some models have carbon bits that reduce weight).
Some customers need to buy a 3rd bag to travel via air (depending on airline).
You can rinse at home, or there is a product called RinseKit which makes rinsing on the beach very convenient.
