Week 18 | Feeding a Small Familly | A Pickin' Party

Thanks for stopping by to see what a week of realistic meals look like for a small family of two. This week was all over the place. We were in the middle of our own little pantry challenge which requires much more organization and effort for meal prep. I came down with a nasty cold which means I had no interest in organizing or working through our pantry, I just wanted a bowl of anything quick. We also did the cooking for my Father-In-Law as he hosted a bluegrass pickin' party at his house. A week of craziness and I'm ready to put my feet up and relax...after the groceries get delivered 😀
We don't have a grocery budget but we do try to be mindful of building our meals based on what is already in the pantry. We don't like wasting food. If I have to throw food in the waste bin I see vacation dollars or gardening dollars being thrown away. I have big plans for both, because they both fill our cups❤️
