Quinyon has earned the "Quintanamo Bay" nickname. He is locking down his side of the field. It's rare that rookie CBs come in and make an immediate impact because it's such a difficult position. However, he, along with Cooper DeJean, have been incredibly impressive.
We have a all pro defense.Everyone compliments everyone on this defense.I love how unify they are as a defense. Thanks for setting the standard and the team living up to it
Having these young guys will allow us to get back to the trenches in the draft. I am hoping for a mm edge in the first round and possibly a safety or trench guy in the second
Also Vic Fangio is the best rn and he is a genius coordinator he will study film and see a way to start getting a lot more pressure.I say use Baun he can do it all.
It’s amazing how much improved our defense is from these young guys. Q and Coop were great picks. If we had an exceptional edge rusher like a Watt or Bosa we’d be so much better. It’s difficult for the db’s when the qb has a ton of time. Sweat has been decent but Carter gets doubled a lot and the others just aren’t getting it done. Sweat leads with 5 but Huff and Nolan 2.5 We need an edge that will give us at least 11 sacks. Reddick probably gets 14 in this defense.
@ BG had 9.5 plus the game winning sack and they also gave up 500+ yards. Our D looks good now but we also haven’t played Detroit, KC etc. and I think if we had a better pass rush it would help when we face better opponents. It is what it is. I’m still hoping Huff and Nolan come on strong. You gotta admit for 51 million you were hoping for more than 2.5 I think he has now
@@greggcoulter6008 If the pass rush was bad, the defense wouldn't be good. Teams are getting rid of the ball crazy fast, which mitigates any sacks. The sacks will come once teams realize dink and doinking doesn't work against our defense anymore. In plus, sacks aren't a reliable metric to determine a D line's effectiveness. KC is ranked 25th in sacks this year, do you think their pass rush is bad? San fran is ranked 18th in sacks this year and they have so many great players on their D line, but does that mean their d line is bad? No.
@@TedTeddy-ej3dp yeah I get it but are you saying our pass rush has been stellar this year. Sweat has been decent but Huff has been a disappointment which is why he played 6 snaps. Plus I’m not saying we’re awful, I just said with a better pass rusher we’d be so much better. Do you remember how much time Cousins had to throw? Jax had 3rd string and another backup and for the most part we couldn’t get pressure. Of course sacks aren’t the end all be all stat that proves a D is good but it certainly helps. Look how Parsons was wrecking that first half. That was my point. If we had a guy like that think how good our D would be.
@@greggcoulter6008 The Eagles D line has one of the highest pressure rates in the league actually and they are currently ranked number 2 by PFF who values pressures tremendously. Yes, they would be better if they had a star edge rusher. The same thing could be said about every defensive line ever. Why else would teams be playing a quick pass game against the Eagles? If they thought the unit couldn't pressure they wouldn't panic and dirt the ball every time their first 2 reads aren't open. Defensive lines aren't purely fueled on talent. they fueled by teamwork. Love the way this defense is looking. Gives me 2017 vibes when our front line has time to get to the QB, because our secondary was playing lock down. We have gone against some of the best Wars this year and held most to what could best be described as modest gains. Chase did the best, but he had some garbage time in there to pad his stats.
I think Jared Verse is gonna win it strictly based on the “sexy” stats he gets, Mitchell doesn’t really have any Int, pick 6’s etc even tho he’s obviously been a better player
I’m in my mid 60’s and I guess I’ll never understand football? Q is a rookie and has this insane vision of how Corner is played. Why aren’t seasoned Vets not getting it?😮
Good job on Vic Fangio in having the courage to play Q and Dejean right away. I'm so glad he didn't just play veterans because they've been here longer.
And I guarantee his 1st pick six is coming soon.He is going to bait a qb and then with his speed he is going to be in the end zone!!!Fly eagles Fly!!!!!
The instant tackles are so good too. I remember from watching the LoB, that they would give up lots of short passes, but they would make it hurt and give up 0 yac, so a single mistake by the offense meant a failed drive.
7:31 and 7:47 he’s beat. At 7:31 rush does him a favor not throwing it he would’ve been there for the tackle tho. 7:47 he lets the receiver stack him but rush doesn’t have the arm to get it there
I think Slay was playing an out route for whatever reason and may have peeked inside. Just one of the reasons why he also gets beat. CJGJ also peeks too much. I am not opposed to having I. Rodgers play over Slay. I wonder if they thought of using Slay as trade bait to get an edge rusher but oh well. i don't think Slay is washed though either.
@6:33 That makes sense. I am glad they aren't teaching the speed turn as much this year. I know last year it was annoying to watch Bradberry constantly speed turning when he is already so slow.

Nick names are usually shorter than the actual name but I like what you did there
@@jaycartier02he got that from @lordbrunson
I havent loved our CBs like this since Lito and Sheldon, and these guys are playing much better

Good afternoon I’m really loving what this young man is doing and the rest of the guys

Need a tight end somewhere there . And not real late in the rounds..

Eagles won a SB without anyone getting 10+ sacks.

Baldy was very impressed by him too.
After almost every game he raves about q, cooper and carter
Death, Taxes, and Q doesn't get beat 😂
If he had a few INT's I think he would be an absolute lock for Defensive ROY
Think he still should be but yes with the picks for sure
Ist. Keep it going bro, you're one of the best at dissecting videos.

this is better than sauce gardeners rookie season no doubt. i’ll be shocked if he keeps this up and doesn’t win droy

@ exactly. he gets the stats people notice which is unfortunate because this really is a historic rookie campaign from mitchell
Quin is the best cornerback in the league I have never seen him out of position

Q is supremely athletic and technically gifted, not all of em have those traits.
Athletic skill plus the smarts.. dude knows coverages and where to be
Appreciate the All-22 breakdown!

Yes he's a star in the making. Fly Eagles fly
Mitchell will make the Pro Bowl but I don’t think he’ll win DROY because of all of his dropped INTs
Do you see any parallels between Q and Ty Law?
We baaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!

Q for DROY

Jamar Chase 54 yards is an unbelievable statement majorly down to Q…. Chase can sleep & get 100yards !
0 TDs given up.
