- Finally some interesting winter action at SPU with some interesting military jets. First time filming a A310, and boy, what a feeling :)

I flew on it several times round-trip from ELP to CGN. I was stationed in ELP with the German Air Force and we were allowed to fly home on vacation numerous times on our deployment. The Air Force purchased several A310 used from Interflug the main carrier of the former GDR. Before being a multi role specific aircraft, the A310 had its original livery in white and was used primarily for troop transport as well as VIP transport. I also flew with the old German Air Force Boeing 707 back in the mid 80s. Today's VIP transportation is conducted by the Airbus 350.

The good old A310. This plane is a full intensiv-ward like a hospital....... it can also be a troop transporter or a cargo Jet...... 👍

Nice view. I flew in a lot of those on their heyday. I believe the last Airbus with a control yoke, before the side stick.

The cross represent the German Christianity not Hitler it existed since Germans was a thing
@@jamesbusterdouglas8960 this is called ritterkreuz, the wehrmacht used the balkenkreuz, whereas the bundeswehr uses the traditional cross insignia. they are similar and have the same origin but are not the same.
