Holy Moly I'm glad I found this video. Looking for a nice little speaker like this for my trips and love the rich Marshall sound. And the fact that it has a microphone sweetens the whole deal
I absolutely love this little baby!. Just got mine 2day. I was used to my bose micro But after 3yrs I wanted an upgrade. This is awesome. Nice clarity. Just enough thumping BASS. This is my personal speaker. I will use it for work. I work on a construction site and I can't play music so loud that it's distracting or I would use SOMETHING bigger. I like this one cause I'll keep it close to me so I can hear the beautiful sound loud to me but I don't distract others. That's the purpose i use this speaker for. And it is great. Love the feel, the design , and most importantly the sound.
Hey Danny just received my Willen wow downloaded the app and use the bass push love it nice smooth sound my first Marshall speaker and impressed great volume and easy to use thanks for the video

I pre ordered it a month or so ago and got mine on Friday the day after release. So far I love it. For its size I think it’s definitely the best Iv heard. I have several of the other Marshall speakers and I’d say sound stage is very similar to the others but at louder volumes obviously bass is lost but everything sounds clear. Love it so far :)
I've been really impressed. My co-workers have been comparing it to the others and they REALLY like it.

It’s great Marshall is updating their beautiful sound lineup.
Being an owner Emberton 1st gen, the Stacking feature makes my model obsolete.
Kinda not too happy not being backward compatible and enable this feature. Which makes me not want to upgrade to an Mll.
So we can't stack our original 😕 😒
Hi Danny thx for your videos question how did you connect the willen with the emberton? Bought the emberton 2 thinking it would connect with my stanmore 2, but I don’t think it does. Really dissapointed considering they were both really expensive and the same company, and since they both connect to the app you would think they could connect to each other. Thx again!
To my knowledge only the latest speakers (emberton 2 and willen) will work with eachother. There are 2 apps for marshall, and I don't think they do a good job of advertising that. Sorry to hear your frustration, but only the latest speakers will do the "stack" mode.
I have the original Marshall Emberton and now the Willen .How did you stack them to get both to sync up I'd love to be able to do that. Very nice 👌🏽 review thank you

Is stack mode a stereo pair? Does it separate left/right channels through individual speakers?
Mono even stacked, sadly.
Please compare it to Minirigs Mini 2!

It only works with the updated gens unfortunatley.

Love the sound of my Stockwell but it's heavy to bring it on the road. Will invest on a Willen.
I feel you. Love my Stockwell II but it's quite a burden to lug around in my backpack. Looks like this little speaker might just land up in the shopping cart
Don’t hurry. I really like Marshall speakers but Willen was disappointing. Old guy Bose Micro sounds better.

Hi @Danny Pops, I bought one Emberton II and one Willen to use in stack mode after watching your videos. I was wondering if you had any Bluetooth latency problems in stack mode while watching videos? Because whenever I used them in stack mode while watching videos, there is a notable delay between audio and video. I was wondering if it is just me or that's an issue Marshall has with their stack mode. Thank you
I've not yet tried stack mode with video. Audio delay sucks though not sure what can be done. Do you vet delay when not in stack mode?
@@DannyPops Awww, thank you so much for replying! I'm starstruck! Yeah, it sucks. It only happens in stack mode. It works perfectly fine when not in stack mode. I've sent Marshall an email about it as well. I shall put a comment here if ever Marshall gives me a fix just in case someone else in the future experiences the same I problem I did.

I love the BO A1. But the willen will probably beat it because it's just more updated tech at this pointm

they can be "stacked' with the marshall app - should be both ios and android independent.
Does emberton has mic? Cuz if does I will get it.. but if willing has it, then I'll go lesser just for that .
Both the older Emberton and latest one doesn't have a mic. Only the Willen has built in mic.
Was about to buy jbl for the bass but after hearing marshal..dang so clear. End up buying willen
Is it loud?? I need one which is loud enough for our group of 6 ppl but clear also, i have heard jbl 5 but was not impressed, but I’ve heard that wilen is not loud enough for group scenes???

Hi, is this still the best small portable speaker from Marshall, May 2024. I'm not interested in other brands just Marshall. The rectangle style would be fine, just looking for the best small, portable sound within a Marshall speaker. Thanks, Sarah K. Adamson
This is still the smallest speaker marshall offers. You may also find the emberton has a little more oomph, but they aren't super different and lack a strap.
@@DannyPops Thanks for getting back to me. The rectangle one weighs about 4 lbs. poeple thought that was a bit heavy for a portable. I went ahead and bought the square Willen at Target. Great price.
Reckon this would sound as good as a Wonderboom2 ? Considering this is smaller and not omni directional sound.
I'd say they are very close in sound quality. The wonderboom has a little more room for passive radiator making the bass a bit more present.
@@DannyPops Thank you for the fast response. I ordered a Wonderboom2 a few days ago for a great price... then realised this Willen existed. Was a little worried it may sound way better somehow.
How does it compare to Marshall Emberton 2 or the new Bose SoundLink Flex?
It’s a different league, Emberton & Flex are twice as powerful.
