Practise help a lot indeed, but genetics have a big role, having fast reflexes, being extremely slow and careful, etc, maybe conquered by practise, but doing those at the most extreme "level", only a person which that info in the genetics + practise can do it, thats why its not everyone try to break records on guiness, some "special people"

The automatic control system of the human mind is still pretty good compared to what science and engineering may achieve, and all the energy that is necessary is a good meal every day. I wonder how many years of computing power and the associated hardware and software would cost to get a machine to do that. There has been much research in holding up an inverted pendulum and nowadays these swarm of quadrocopters are reaching a level that no human mind can achieve............. but it has taken a million years to establish the relation between a million transistors to do it.
