    I put two layers of clear nail polish on my #’s on my Tombows so I know which ones I have when people ask. Really enjoyed this video and may be getting me the gold and bronze pens. 😊

    Ahhh your pro gear slim collection is beautiful. I’m very tempted to get one, just waiting for a color combination I can’t live without, I think. I’m also always so impressed by your Tombow color scheme! Whenever I buy individual ones, I end up not liking the colors I picked. Maybe I should buy one of their pre-packaged sets, heh. Thank you for sharing as always! I love your videos.

    Hi Lindsey! For a non-leather pencase, I highly recommend checking out Rickshaw Bagworks. They have a super soft interior to keep your pen safe and free of scratches. Lots of styles and fun designs (or all black if you prefer that and you can customize with a fun interior color).

    Loved the video! What suggestions do you have for someone wanting to get into fountain pens? I don't know where to start and how do you figure out what's your preference without buying expensive pens?

      I would start with a kaweco sports ef if you like a thin line. Lamy has a larger nib and larger pen body. And if you prefer a weighted pen you can try twsbi i like dimond 580 but most expensive out of the 3 they have an entry pen as well ecco. Good luck

    Hi Lindsey. Just saw your page. Been collecting pens for years and have acquired a decent collection. Always good to see someone else’s viewpoint.

    The new mildliners are my FAVOURITE. They're so satisfying and the olive is perfect. The bronze uniball signo is also a staple of mine.

    Love the pen case. Thanks for sharing your pen collection. Have you tried Uni Jetstream Multi Pen 4 and 1? It is four colors plus a pencil and is same ink as the hobonichi pen. The pencil mechanism is easy to refill. Plus eraser under cap( happy when figured that out) it’s tiny but works for small quick fixes.

    I just yesterday got the set of mildliners that you showed in the thumbnail for this video. I'm definitely gonna check out some of the pens you named in this video, thanks ❤️

    Hey Lindsey!! Where did you get a replacement nib for vanishing point? I got an EF from jet pens and felt like it was more scratchy then what came in my original pen.

    Thanks for another excellent, informative video. A question about the De Atramentis ink: did the bottle (45 ml?) last two years with daily use? Also, roughly how long between pen fills (approximate; I know it depends on usage and differs from person to person). I'm trying to figure out if I'd be better covered with cartridges as I'm out of the house a lot but rarely take a bag, just stuff things into jacket and jean pockets.

    • @lindseyscribbles
      @lindseyscribbles  2 роки тому +1

      mine lasted about 2 years (I probably have another 3-4 refills in my current bottle - so just over i suspect). I refill once a month, or top it up every time I travel. I actually use a cartridge and refill it with an ink syringe. The cartridges hold more volume for me than a converter

    Hi Lindsey, I was just wondering why you get questioned over the Deatramentis ink ruining your VP pen? I just bought the VP and already use the Deatramentis ink in a Kaweco sport which works well. Obviously, as you mentioned you have had no issues but why are people asking, what is the consensus of opinion is there an issue with this combo or something? Just wondering if you have any idea? Thanks in advance!

    • @lindseyscribbles
      @lindseyscribbles  Рік тому +1

      I’m not entirely sure - but I believe it’s because the ink is more permanent. If you don’t clean pens regularly or use it daily I think the ink can clog the feed from what I’ve heard

    As small as Lindsey’s handwriting is I’m really surprised we weren’t zoomed in closer so we could truly see the inks on the paper 🙁
