Particle Paths - TouchDesigner Tutorial 64
Вставка
- Опубліковано 20 чер 2024
- In this TouchDesigner tutorial we're using the particlesGPU component in combination with force, turbulence and color lookups to create an organic structure.
You can greatly expand this technique by adding several instances of the force constant with different xyz positions and joining them like we're joining the different turbulence constants.

Don't ever change your life, I need to continue learning this program through your tutorials.
It's great that I got to the end and you used a component that you designed yourself and that I had no idea how to do. Basically, I watched the feedback section in the TOPs Part 2 video you explained many times, but I did not have the slightest idea of what to do. At this and similar stages, I recommend that you think of each of your videos as if they were watching them for the first time. Thanks for your effort.
It looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing!
So dope! so organic looks, love this💙
Thanks so much for another great tutorial. Really appreciate it!
Made my day… ❤🎉 , Thanks!!
uh, wow, that's really cool 🤪😍 Thanks so much for sharing such an amazing effect!
Thank you so much! Very nice vibe. I kinda got stuck in the "simple_feedback component part", but other than that everything was extremely clear and easy to maneuver with thanks to you
Thanks for the great tut!
Edit: was stumped on something, but realized it was just about pressing H to re-align. 🙌
Thank you a lot my most valuable teacher! :)
Your quips are killing me elekktronaut. Thanks for the tutorial.
Hello my friend. Keep up your good humor and the strength to make this videos. Thank you for educating us.
it's truly a pleasure to share with you all :) thanks for the support ❤
picked up this software 3 days ago coming from blender. you guys have a great community!
definitely, it's one of my favorite parts about this tool :)
My master , keep going 🫡
Crazy! Thanks a lot :) Is it possible to make the particles follow a specific path, for example to be use on an architecture plan?
20:07 looks AWESOME
I can't wait to try some audio reactive stuff with this
audioreactive particles coming soon 😌
Looking to do that too, and maybe add in some Optical Flow reactivity too.
Thanks for the tutorial! I've managed to add a feedback loop, but the result doesn't look so much as a particle with trace, but just more dense particles. Is there a setting to switch for a more line-looking particles?
Thank you for the tutorial! Is it possible to assign attractor to particles using particlesGpu?
love the video man, I'm a newbie and I don't know what happens behind the simple feedback you added, what do calculations do you do in that group?
Same here, do you have an answer yet for the simple_feedback component? We found out that it is his custom component so we are basically searching for the video in which he built it... with no luck..
How can we get the simplefeedback?

Awesome tutorial as always!!
I'm having some issues changing the "Particle Source" section since all the parameters are in yellow and i'm unable to edit them 😅
Right click the parameter -> Toggle Read-Only!
Thank you for the great tutorial.
I want to shape these particle systems into some kind of some kind of object. For example, buildings, snow, people... I'd appreciate it if you could let me know in the comments how particles can be made into buildings, then into eyes. Also, I wonder if the particle system can be applied to the image and utilized.

Thanks so much for this great tutorial! Would it be possible to next this inside a GEO? (Not as a texture)
I meant "nest"
really love your video! It's really nice and beautiful, but I can't find simple_feedback in palette, the list of my component is empty. I don't know how to find it😭
Hi and thanks, a question, why in 06:54 the central circle gets bigger, mine keeps small and after that the settings doesn't match your visualization :S.
Can you please explain the sample channel part on the turb part? Is not clear to me how it's working
@8:36 my circle is above the pink geometry shape thing how do I get it to go inside?
Thanks so much, amazing! I'm a total roookie and I've been stuck in the last step looking for the Simple Feedback one for so long.. Can you please tell me which episode is it in and I will go study? Thanks again.

I figured out later actually.. it's just literally a simplest feedback with comp... For me it worked at least. But to turn it into a component is another thing. @@antonijanemes4752
cool
Thank you for the video, But in the particlesgpu section I have only 3 inputs, and you have 5, how can I add more inputs? I watched your video till 14:49 minutes and after that, I couldn't do it :( wait for your response
Hey does anyone know, where to find the "simplefeeback" node... It's not in my Pallete..? Help!

I can't wait to change my life... I mean particle life.. well both really 😂
hello, I want to ask the simple feedback patch. How to make that patch?
it's really just feedback, level and over! maybe this helps:

lovely work thanks for making this :) can you make point cloud tools part cover in a video and what we can do with that it will be helpful thanks again for making this always love your work tc be safe :)
cheers! noted :) definitely check out b2bk for cool point cloud videos!
@@elekktronaut thanks i will have a look at that
can i know where is the simple feedback is?
Changing the forceamount to -1 doesnt seem to be working, it just stays in a tiny ball
Can you share the plugin at 17 minutes 27 seconds?
when i get rid of the turbulence magnitude, it doesnt make a dot/circle, it stays a line? and so everything looks wonky from then on out...i replayed that part like 8 times now and i copied everything you did but it still comes out like that, what did i somehow do wrong?:(
also stops me from changing the particle size to .9 like at 8:56 , so i am unable to do this tutorial:(
Hi, if you're referring to the situation at around the 11:40 of the video, maybe try to unlocking constant2? There's a little yellow icon on the left side of constant2 to do that, maybe this way you can get rid of the turbulence magnitude.
I kind of got lost when he put in his feedback component. In addition to the feedback top, I believe a level was placed because of the opacity of the component + the keyboard input for reset. Unfortunately I couldn't get to that "velvety" texture. I tried to put an edge node and tweak the parameters but still no. Can anyone help me get to this feedback of the video?
it's really just feedback, level with .95 opacity and an over top! mind the input order as well
@@elekktronaut oh, it's really simpler than I imagined. I had used a comp top to apply the over. Thanks! ^^
I completely understood the Simple Feedback in this video. ua-cam.com/video/JkKHKsY31no/v-deo.html What "level" does is shorten the lifespan of the feedback, which is why the opacity should be 0.95, and it is connected to the render through a composition.
Hey there! I’m a newbie to touch design. I did the feedback loop but I couldn’t figure out how to add the over top. Where should I add the over top and with what values. I’d be sooo happy if someone could explain.. 😅
Transform-->Feedback(top to over 1)-->level--->over1(Connect Partical GPU and Level component)@@tan7471
ahhhhh
Is this one that's going to require NVIDIA?
i honsetly don't know and can't find anything on it, but i believe it should work on any decent gpu!
This one is fine. No requirements. Thanks for the new tutorial!
I'm on a MacBook M1, running just fine
i'm sorry i'm a beginner, and i'd like to know how to make a simple feedback please
stop at 【simple-feedback 】try a lot..in the end,Only a few pixels left . think it maybe cant continue on MAC arm64...really sad
