Mike Howe has the right amount of dirt and aggression in the voice. The pressure is right and the dynamics fit. Vocal range is exorbitant. Stage presence and interaction with band and audience is perfect. Hats off!
It's mind-blowing to me that this man could sing a song like "In Mourning" and take his own life. You just never know what lies deep in anyone's soul and what kind of pain could prompt an act like this.
I think he may have felt likethe 'kids" in the song at some point in his life. I also heard he had gotten a divorce so who knows what was goin on.... RIP MH

I saw the band in July 2019 in Germany in a small club, capacity maximum 1000 people, the mood was very good from the beginning it's due to Mike Howe, a charismatic singer with a unique voice in hard rock/heavy metal. We should never forget that. A great human died to early. R.I.P
