Love listening to you! I love to see your style, beautiful pages and functional ideas. I have an A5 journal that was collecting dust on my shelf.. 🤭 I moved it to my desk and it's being ok now. I will for sure move some past days and try to give it more entries cause it is such a nice place to have lots of memories in. I think your video came in great time cause lots of us will be purchasing new planners so it is nice to check how our friends use theirs😘 thanks for sharing with us, Ellie🥰
@@ScientistPlans thank you so much, Cecilia! 😘 I agree - it’s so fun and helpful to see how everyone is using their systems.. and I always love seeing yours! 💙
love how you are using the 5 year journal and the great tips/reminders you shared. I am behind in mine and sometimes feel overwhelmed by what to write in it, but your suggestions gave me a sense of relief and encourage me to just write! So glad you are back making videos again
@@carinas_introverted_plans thank you so much, Carina! 💛 I keep relearning that I have to make things manageable for myself or else they just don’t work. 😅 This 5 year setup is easy and fun, and that makes me so much more consistent!
I always love your videos!! I get reinvigorated about planning and what I can do in my planners. I also get a great sense of calm. You have a wonderful balance Ellie. Thank you for sharing and I really love those covers 😍 on all 3!
@@eleanorsweeney6808 thank you for watching and for your kind words, I truly appreciate them! 🥹🥰
I love the A6!!!! Your system makes me so happy!
@@tuesdayisthenewfriday thank you so much, Angelica!! It took me 8 months, but I’m finally feeling settled in my systems 😂
Loved your sticker a day videos. I’ve been doing something like that for about 3 years.
@@CathyPlans thank you, Cathy! It’s such a lovely practice, and now I have the calendars all set up if I choose to go back to it. 😂
Ah! Love me an Ellie video!
@@apaperylife2096 thank you, friend!! 😘
Happy to see you’ve found your groove again Ellie.
Curious - when you are under contract and not using your planners how do you keep your plans and to-dos etc straight? Do you not feel scattered?
And why do you think you use them less? Is it because it’s too much work to get it setup / so during those times you need a little more preset structure that doesn’t take the time that the setup takes? I find even a basic bujo setup can take time especially if you 1)like it to look nice and 2) like to use at least a bit of deco (stickers/washi).
@@JustScribble thank you, Shivaun!! When I’m under contract I usually end up reverting back to post-it-note planning, or scribbling on whatever paper is at hand. 😅 And I do my actual teaching plans on the computer because I need them to be accessible to my teaching partner, so that keeps me pretty organized. I don’t keep do any memory-keeping though, which I always regret in the long term.
And you’re exactly right - if my planner isn’t structured when I’m in a contract then I’m not likely to use it because of the effort and planning I’d need to do to plan, if that makes sense. I also think there’s a bit of a mental block with using “nice” planners - I like to feel like I have space to scribble and be messy and that’s not what I do in my personal planning so merging them is hard for me. But keeping two separate systems just doesn’t work at all, sooo this year could be interesting! 😂🥰
This is a lovely lineup, Ellie. Im moving toward a more intentional set up like this next year. I picked up the 5 year B6 and haven't started yet. I need to just put pen to paper!! Thanks Ellie!
@@moniques.journal.corner thank you Monique! I find the hardest parts to be actually making a definitive choice (lol) and, like you said, putting pen to paper for the first time. But it’s always a relief to get started and move through the perfectionist worries! 😅🥰
That green cover is ✨DIVINE✨
@@plannercoven right?! Her Olive Grace leather is one of my absolute favourites. 😍😍
Another lovely video! Thanks so much for sharing your lineup and thoughts ☺
@@birdsbooksbujo thank you so much! 🥰
♥️♥️♥️
@@nessieplans 🥰🥰🥰
I like your bujo! I have my bujo in a pocket filofax, maybe I will move in the personal filofax
@@katsmith8263 thank you! One of the things I love about the bullet journal method is that it can translate to whatever system you like. 🥰
Your A6 cover is lovely!
@@KatiefromKatiesNestingSpot thank you, I’m so happy with it! I always gravitate towards neutral, but I decided to go with colours that make me feel happy and have no regrets!! 🩵💜
Great content. Can you tell me where you got yours date stickers in your academic sterling ink?
@@fayek5650 thanks for watching! The date stickers are from Planner Monkey Co. If you search “2024 dailies” you should find them. 😊
What do you think about having separate bujo for work and personal? Memory keeping in an a6? Maybe a highlight book instead of a full journal.
@@KM-nq7hz in theory I’d be totally fine with that, but experience has taught me that I just can’t keep up with two planners… and if I’m in a contract I struggle to keep up with *one*. 😅🤦🏻♀️ I appreciate the suggestions!
