Cardiac Cath with Angioplasty

Dr. Michael Martinelli, Chief of Cardiology at St. Peter's Hosital in Albany, NY, performs a cardiac catheterization via the femoral artery. Dr. Martinelli narrates the exploration of the patient's coronary artery, removal of a blockage and stenting of the vessel.

I just had this procedure done at Boston Medical Center. Two stents were placed. Less than 36 hours later I was discharged from hospital and feel a million times better. I'm 55 years old.
It was very enlightening to see this.

I had a similar procedure done one week ago. So far I have no previous pain in my chest. I had Chest Pain upon Exertion for 10 days. My local clinic was not able to
diagnosis my condition.( The EKG and Vitals were normal)When I went to the local ER they found the problem thru a
blood test. So I now believe that when you have Chest Pain upon exertion it can be do to a blockage .
