Hey Chad, love the videos! One small feedback I have is that you might want to equalize the volume of your intro and outro to match the rest of the video. Keep up the awesome vids!
Really good video! I’m in Michigan we have the vine borer. It’s bad. Maybe number 11: prevent critters, (because they will do damage to your pumpkin or vine) electric fence, cayenne pepper, and or a motion activated jet sprinkler! Your intro and outro is much louder volume than your talking audio. Can you raise your audio to match it? I love it it’s super cool.
Great Video, after last years 71lb pumpkin I was hooked. I posted questions about giant pumpkins to a Canadian group and managed to get some seeds from a giant pumpkin grower. Pack of 3 seeds says: 1276 Dossett 2022 (21% heavy) 1163 Farrell (2261 Schmit × 2183 Paton) × Self Seems like great background gene's. When will you be starting your giant pumpkin seeds? Our last frost here is May 11th zone 6B.
Nice content. I was sizing up my seeds today, not sure why but that 1783 is calling me. I just got a feeling. Speaking of which I was palpatining the coin envelope and realized there are two. And that seals the deal. My thought process is similar to Ruben's in that I would start between 10 and 20 seeds per plant I wanted to grow should I have unlimited funds or seeds. Seems like unlimited funds are not in my future I will plan to make my crosses count this year. So if all grows right I will have unlimited seeds. Not sure how I plan to cross your 1783 just yet, I will keep you posted. Thanks for the generosity. Best of luck this season.
My 1st year growing pumpkins, did it on a whim, it was kind of out of the way in the garden and mostly ignored. I went and checked them out, and had a football sized pumpkin, all excited, 4 days later the thing is a good sized watermelon. Is that normal?

yep. top pumpkins can grow 60 pounds in a day!
