I know. That's a Mimosa tree, or Persian Silk Tree. It's an exotic, sometimes invasive. It usually doesn't get that big around here. I've read that it's often used for furniture where the tree is from.
Your so lucky to get to own one of these mills! I can't wait for the day mine gets dropped off at the front door and I to, am going to share it on my UA-cam channel just so I can make other people jealous. Lol! Just kidding about that last part. How difficult was it to get 100% level?
Hey Mike be sure to screw down the feet to the blocks with good old Tapcons. I used the 1 1/4". No more moving around. Subbed and would appreciate if you could do the same. Like you I don't get many vids made but the new 126 and the Cat excavator vids are coming soon I promise. I could never move these one ton logs without them and our old Swinger loader. Our cherry here are a good 24" across and the wood is fabulous. Tulip as well and oak, locust, pine, ash, maple, beech, etc so that mill will pay back real fast at these lumber prices. Keep it up bud👍😎👌 BTW I made a great workbench from the crate with cherry top and legs. Yup loving on that cherry.
@@SuroitJack I can relate! I only had to wait a month and a half for mine. A neighbor saw mine and ordered one for himself and needs to can't 14 weeks.
That box elder would make nice stableized wood for knife handles
Wow..that's some pretty wood..

You’re going to need a tractor wi a set of forks if you want to saw a lot of lumber.
I had to move the cleaning cable back on the same wheel you did, but it took me a few days to notice.
I caught up with your videos just tonight. ua-cam.com/video/MaVm0OSksYg/v-deo.html is very helpful, thank you!

It took me two days to get to cutting boards. I was 80% there the first day. Summer, longer days, I would have been cutting the first day.

Setting up on the ground was always temporary. I have the mill on the trailer now.
@@MikeCreuzer nice👍
Nice tree dolly. Where did you get them?
I got mine from Tractor Supply when they had free shipping. Cheapest place I could find. They are also on Amazon.
They are both from www.timbertufftools.com/
Looks like northern tool carries them too if you have one of those nearby.
@@MikeCreuzer I was not able to find them on their website but did find them in Tractor Supply as you pointed out. Thank you.
Where did you get your pull behind log hauler?
Tractor Supply. It was cheaper than Amazon when I got mine.

That is a Ryobi electric lawnmower. I got the 100ah one. I love it other then the tires won't hold air. All four go flat every week.
