you should try with projectile resistance, it really helps against geared rangers, you pretty much can walk at them, combo attack doesnt do too much unless youre fighting another 70%+ pdr fighter

Ain't now way you think ranger can do shit while cornered like this against someone that can just rush and 2 tap you while tanking multiple headshots and being able to immediately heal with his ability to have even more health to tank with during a fight without any interruption while also having a shield to easily block every single arrows if you're skilled enough.
One has to aim and predict enemies' movements a fuck ton of time in a single fight in order to kill the other as well as kiting away carefully cause you're pretty much dead if you get hit once while the other can just ape run at you while tanking arrows shamelessly when you should clearly die when not using the shield but you obviously don't and just 2 tap them in melee range.
forgot to add that some fights as a ranger you might be winning considering you don't get hit at all and you manage to hit your target a fuck ton of time but at any time the fighter could just run away to heal up and you're unable to push him because again you are garbage at melee as a ranger and since the guy is healing up and you didn't kill him even with maybe 10-15 arrows the next trade like this if you don't kill you end up with 0 arrows and you can't play the game anymore as ranger so shoutout

@@pinopalotta you must be confused in life, he removed 1/4 with a 50 damage long bow and a headshot, 50 damage long bow isn't something you get easily and the fire rate of a long bow as well as your movespeed while using it is slow as fuck, long bow is good in situations where you can one shot the enemy player or when you can just poke from far or if you have teammates to frontlane for you.
Anyways he would need to hit 6 to 7 headshots in order to kill the fighter here since he can just use his ability when dropping low. I don't think you realize that there's absolutely no way he would land 6 to 7 headshots this fast especially when a good fighter would just push with his shield covering his head.
Let alone the fact that damage scales like crazy with gear on a ranger while defense doesn't scale as much meaning with less gear on both sides fighter is even harder to kill.
He did indeed remove 1/3 of the fighter's life by the end of the play with a melee swing that barely did ~10% of the fighter's HP which means he would need to hit him around 10 times with melee to kill him and technically if you consider that the fighter's skill is part of his total HP he would need 15 melee hits while the fighter only needs 2.
At this point if you keep arguing you're shameless.
I do agree that ranger is very good in teamfights and against some classes in 1v1 but definitely not against fighter though.

@@mbeh420in Tarkov, a Timmy can still kill someone who's Uber decked out through cautious play and clever strategy, like going for leg shots with a high RPM gun or a single good face shot with a mosin. This simply isn't the case in DaD; the only way you can really beat someone who's several tiers higher then you in gear is if they make a MAJOR mistake or are in an incredibly disfavorable match up (full rubysilver vs magic for example) neither of which are remotely reliable. This is a problem because it's a good way to drop a game dead fast. Don't believe me? Go look at The Cycle: Frontier

At 58% pdr with 130hp, i already feel essentially invincible in the Goblin Caves. Literally no one plays magic classes in the caves so im basically a walking Juggernaut. Literally not one person in like 12 games has got me under 50% hp in a 1v1

Did they change the number of Physical Reduction? I can't find any gear that has over 2% Physical Reduction right now.
i think theres some things that have over 2% but theyre probably rare and expensive

So...is there a down side to the fighter class? Mobility, defense, range, weapon speed, large weapon assortment....I know this video highlights gear based ability...but still.
any kind of magic damage will destroy a fighter, a naked wizard could kill a fighter very easily
An equally geared Rogue, Ranger, Barbarian, Wizard, Warlock can take a Fighter down. Although kitted Fighter is the best low gear pub stomper for their versatillity, as long as there aren't any naked wizards, which last wipe there were very few. Even so Fighter can no longer reach 80% dmr as of this wipe.

If they run the 75% armor pen skill and hit and run it might win against fighter
with armor pen maybe but without it the barb will be doing 15% of... lets say 150 damage? so 22 dmg per hit and the fighter has 180 hp with second wind. i think the barb dies first if he has to hit 9 times

The amount of gold investment you need to be “2 tapping” players and the amount of skill to actually pull off the kills without being cheesed by ranger/casting class/rogue out weighs any investment you’d have to make on any other class to achieve the same result.
So we're gonna pretend like that ranger didn't fully invest in his kit and that he shouldn't be able to do damage with the same equivalent gear? Like idk what your point is here. This guy clearly is 2 tapping people taking zero damage in the process. The ranger is a straight dps class that hits him once for 25% before being smoked.... and the fighter has second wind so even if he got triple tapped he still would be a quarter health with instant health regeneration. Not to mention he can use a bow too, do just as much damage, and can move like a panzer tank with a ferrari engine. Rangers are OP when they have distance and the drop on you, but there survivability never goes up..... but for fighters they just get tankier, hit harder and move faster. Second wind scales off health and just gets even more nutty at higher health/armor levels where that hp pool is hard to make a dent in.

As a rogue, can someone please explain the counterplay to this. The rogue with a gold rapier barely touched his HP bar, EVEN if the rogue outplays him he just presses and and get half up back for free DURING combat??? Where’s the counterplay I don’t understand at all.
to be fair he didnt even hit me once, but a rogue can do crazy damage to a fighter, but u have to be using weakpoint and ambush i believe
