FISHING OCEAN WRECKS AND BUOYS FOR WHATEVER BITES (Multi Species)

We went out in the ocean and caught a variety of fish before my friend Jeremy had to leave on a plane. We were able to get some solid action on these buoys and wrecks for a quick little trip!

If you didn't try a shrimp or shrimp imitation under all those markers you definitely missed a lot of chances to catch tripletail. I would keep a Salt Strong Power Prawn or Z Man shrimp on a 10 lb test braid rig and try it under everything that floats after you try the jigs. I've caught tripletail off floating markers that we couldn't see, the only way to catch them was to fish every bouy. I'm new to the VA Beach area (in Newport News) and I need to go out offshore. It's always an adventure. I lived in Costa Rica and fished for a few years in the Pacific. I miss it.
